  3. I have been looking for a while here in Canada for a Wednesday night bike/ pound and pint night bike/ something a little different bike. This is what I ended up getting to scratch that "itch". 2007 MT-01 with 8200kms on the dial. Super clean and ready to stomp...and stomp it does! All torque at 3000rpm to 5000rpm. It'll vibrate your eyes out of your sockets if in a certain rev range....but man it has soul. These bikes are different that is for sure. Still handle reasonably well with all fully adjustable suspension and a good set of tires to handle the gobs of torque exiting a turn. Quite an attention getter when stopped with other bikers at the coffee shop.

  4. Was it the Bagster seat, perhaps? It seems to come highly recommended by forum members...

  6. This is my Tracer and seat. Unfortunately I am not thrilled with it. It is still slanted to forward into the tank. I did order another to see if they made improvements to it if not I will send it back and keep this one for now. I love my other Sargeant seats I just spoke to them and they said a couple of more weeks to work out the kinks. I hope it's worth it and I hope they take care of me if I send my original one back later.

  7. I went and bought a handful of Tail of the Dragon pictures. Handy to have someone taking them so I can have a pic of actual riding in addition to selfies and scenery ...

  8. Added some lights to the forks so they move when the handle bars move. I have not tested them on the road yet. I am quite happy with them so far though!

  9. Emailed Driven Racing tech support this morning because I had the same issue after a 2nd refill. They are west coast I’m east coast. Not only did they reply before their office hours but emailed 2 times to make sure I got the reply to call them back. The problem was me. Slightly overfilled both times. Plugged the vent hole. That’s it. . Super impressed with their support. They are sending me new o-rings as well to replace what I have now. @texscottyd you are good to purchase. This problem only occurred during the two refills sines I added the cap. Cap has been on and off multiple times between each refill with no issue so I’m convinced the problem was me.

  10. “Mountain” @fddriver2? My local topography along the Texas Gulf Coast isn’t much different. My house is at about 75 feet above sea level, and I still laugh at a town a bit east of here: Mont Belvieu. Trust me on this, it is neither mountainous nor beautiful...

  11. Lil ride in Southern Ohio yesterday. Fall colors are not great, but I don't think it has peaked yet.

  14. I took mine on a 300+ mile day trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway in VA. It was a perfect day (albeit cold as ***t this morning, thank you, heated grips) and we had a blast.

  15. At the risk of sounding like a cracked record (nobody under 50 will know what I'm talking about!) and/ or someone in their pay, let me suggest and recommend the BAGSTER seats from France. I await my just-ordered GT seats from them, and this will be my third or fourth such purchase for a Tracer. True - they are not 'custom' in the sense that one can visit the factory/ workshop and be measured and assessed and fitted on-the-spot by the seat-builder, which is what I believe some after-market seat-makers offer. Clearly, this might be the ultimate made-to-measure offer. But BAGSTER seats are beautifully and flawlessy made, and can be fully customisable in terms of your preference for any of a wide range of elements, including the all-important seat foams, as well as the covering materials in over 70 colours and types of finish; colour and type of stitching; decorative embroidery; height; gel and heated options, etc. They are not cheap - landed here in Oz, about AUD$450 to $550 depending. But worth every cent IMHO.

  16. Birmingham AL is only a little out of the way, and a friend mentioned the Barber Motorsports Museum.
