I've been having similar issues. My gear position indicator will momentarily go blank exclusively when I'm in 6th gear. It comes and goes. All other gears will not have this problem, just 6th. Anybody have similar issues. We recently changed chain and sprockets, could this have an impact ? I will check if my gear lever is loose.

Hey @cha0s , did you ever make the mod's? If so, how did it work for you? It worked out pretty good. Huge improvement over stock and now it behaves like a sportbike. It's even better than my Speed Triple was. The R1 carts did not fit properly, so we cept the fork caps and had to fit parts of ZX-10R cartridges. I'm still working on setup as the front end will chatter under really hard cornering, but other than that, I'm very satisfied.

I'm planning on installing Racetech springs, Elka piston kit and possibly have OEM Yamaha R1 cartridges machined and retrofitted. Price should be around 500$ of labor, plus parts. You can usually get the cartridges cheap, if you can find them from a racer who replaced them.
