  1. I found that when I changed the rear shock for a Nitron shock, although the bike was much better, it only made the poor performance of the forks more noticeable, I was always aware that it didn't feel right, so had the forks re sprung and re valved, now it feels great.
  2. This guy has done a series of videos on valve clearances on an FZ09, step by step, including getting timing correct, they are very good. https://www.youtube.com/@meticulousmechanic/videos
  3. I did mine when I changed the chain at 12k miles, glad I did as there was very little grease from the factory. I also changed the seals in the linkage assembly. I've always used Silkolene RG2 Waterproof grease.
  4. I bought a Vulcan S as a second bike, something totally different to the Tracer, its a great 2nd bike, as its a different experience riding it. I doubt it would be any good on a track day though.
  5. I had something similar, the ABS light came on when I was braking softly, when braking hard it was fine. I cleaned the sensors, rings, changed pads and fluid and its been fine since.
  6. I used this, works great: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324839785599?hash=item4ba1f5c47f:g:kQwAAOSw19NgohT4
  7. Thanks for the heads up, I'll be checking mine.
  8. I have the R1 with preload adjuster, you wont be disappointed, its a massive improvement over the standard shock. I did notice how bad the forks were after fitting it, so had them resprung and revalved, bikes perfect now.
  9. Its tempting me away from mt 2015 Tracer, just need to test ride it. Price is the same as the Tracer GT here in the UK, it looks a better package.
  10. I found that the easiest way was to use a cable tie, make a loop, hook it under the coil and pull up.
  11. I fitted a Nitron rear shock and had the front forks re-sprung and re-valved, it transformed the bike, worth every penny.
  12. Try Streetbike in Halesowen, I've always had good service there. Stealth Motorcycles in Redditch are a good independant dealer.
  13. Another great video, thanks for taking the time and posting.
  14. After just two years I had to replace mine, 6000 miles.
  15. Did mine today, thanks, the video helped a lot.
