  1. New old guy here with new '22 9 GT with only 104 miles. Foot brake pedal too high. I note the adjusting bolt for this pedal has a paint stripe on is from where it was set at the factory.  Is it okay to lower the pedal by adjusting this bolt/set nut to lower pedal without adjusting anything else? Thanks

Interestingly, I feel like the pedal on my 21 9GT is a little too low since I got the Corbin saddle that lifted my butt an inch or so higher.  I just got used to it, never bothered to look and see if there is an adjustment.  However, those paint marks are probably only inspection signatures as the bike goes thru QC checks.  There were lots of them on my 22 Wing, which I found unsightly and removed by rubbing and scraping with a fingernail.

I sort of noticed it when I bought my 22 T9GT earlier but then got used to it. I'm at ~3500 miles now so maybe it's all good for me. But I do recall in the owner's manual you can adjust the footrest positions which from factory is set low. I would start there then adjust high if needed.
