  1. They are cool bikes and if money and room was no option I’m not saying I wouldn’t own one. But didn’t do it for me as my only bike at the time.
  2. I had a 2012 all black. I was coming off sportbikes and thought this would give me more comfort with some sportiness. It was at the shop under warranty 4-5 times and wasn’t what I thought. I didn’t keep it long should have bought a fz-1.
  3. Yamaha has came a long ways with their valves when I started riding street bikes in the 80’s they were notorious for needing adjusted. The viragos were horrible and I had a 400 special that needed adjusted seemed like every season.
  4. GM needs to make their Dino powered vehicles dependable before they make any more EV’s.
  5. Wide open is all I know 😉
  6. I guess I’m a little paranoid about it because I generally don’t like to buy used bikes. I got a good deal on it from a friend so wasn’t real concerned. A lot of new technology I wanted but not used to at the same time. The quick shifter is the tits by the way.
  7. Thanks for the response. I just didn’t want to be hurting anything since I bought it used.
  8. No it is with normal shifting sometimes up and most of the time down that I feel the click. When I use the quick shifter I’m not touching the lever. It’s mostly on a clutch downshift.
  9. When I shift, especially down shift, I can feel it through the clutch lever. It’s like a click. Is this normal? I’ve never had a quick shifter and am wondering if this is a characteristic. The clutch seems to be adjusted correctly. I did buy the bike used. Thanks.
  10. Same. My vstrom had 5 bars and each represented almost exactly one gallon with no surprises. My 21 goes from good to blinking quick.
  11. They are eBay specials. I’ve used them many times in the past. My problem with the oem controls is I was having trouble keeping two fingers on the grips. These fixed that perfectly especially with the brake. Trail braking should be easy now. One this is the clutch leaver has to be slightly modified. But for 25 bucks shipped I can do that.
  12. I’m too tight to own something undependable and expensive to fix.
