Yes the offer better wind protection. One of the photos shows the bars at full lock, showing how much room there is between the KTM hand guards and the windscreen. I am very pleased with the new guards.

I'll try to post more pics once the bike is off the lift, currently refreshing ECU and put on Graves Exhaust. Yes, the hand guards fit around the bars perfectly and the factory end screws were reused without any issues.

Install was a breeze, work much better with air deflection. Shiny black versus flat black but very pleased with the outcome!
