  1. Hey @filo79 , I went through your Isotta screen post- looks great. What's your height and how's the wind noise at different speeds? Is the height still adjustable using their brackets over the stock mounting? How does it perform without the MRA spoiler? Thank you if you can answer these for me Sorry for my delay in answering you, i've had some problems with my ADSL at home and now in my office this website is being blocked ... I'm 183cm tall, i ride with seat in low position and screen in high position, the wind noise with the combo Isotta + MRA XScreen is a LOT less than with the stock screen or even with only the Isotta. You can adjust the MRA in a ton of ways and it changes a lot the way the air hits you (i've a Shark Speed-R helmet , it's not a very good touring helmet, it's very firm in the air with his flap on the back, but it's not very quiet, expecially on the left side, because of the sunvisor lever), now i can ride up to 100km/h with the helmet visor up, no turbulences, not much noise (but also not very cool air during the hot season ! Argh... i've a BKS Silverstone leather jacket and it's has full vented chest, no more "free air conditioning" during summer...sigh..it's the price for the silence!) It's not for sure a full tourister now, it's not a BMW RT or similar , but now i can stand to highway transfers without suffering head shaking and wind roaring.
  2. It will shake A LOT, i used a MRA deflector with the stock screen and with all its shaking it became almost useless, no protection at all and lot of noise, now i'm using the MRA with an Isotta screen and i'm HAPPY !
  3. Here's my new Isotta high windscreen: Vs the original one: You also need a kit of a couple of brackets (and 4 bolts) which makes the original fixing more stable. 75euros for the shield + 20euros for the brackets kit. No need to remove the hand guards. Very very well made, 6mm thickness, strong enough to remain stable even at 150-160kph, even with the MRA XCreen deflector, no vision distortions, easy mounting. It reduces A LOT the turbulences from the air flux, i can stay with the helmet visor open at over 100kph with no problems. I think it's not so ugly and integrates well with the bike's style.
  4. Guys, sorry for bother you, but can i ask you if you can take a picture of the "flip" at the top of the screen ? I've an MRA XCreen Sport spoiler which is attached by removable clamps to the original windscreen and a shop told me that i can't use with the GIVI.... I'm very worried about it because i think that this GIVI windscreen is not only a good looking "sporty" screen but it seems to reduce well noise and "flapping" of the original one and i want to use it in combo with my spoiler.
  5. I've installed the MRA X-Creen Sport on the standard screen, it fits well, it's not too ugly and i hope to get some benefits back (i've heavy noise from air turbulence that comes directly on my Shark Speed-R , i'm 183cm tall and it's very very hard to drive with them). I'll make some testing when it stops raining.
  6. just bought an MRA Xcreen sport deflector , review will follow.
  7. Hi, i've read all the thread looking for the best solution for the buffeting/roaring noise given by the stock screen (i'm 183cm tall); i've two options (i think): 1) a small Sport screen like the Ermax or the Puig or the MRA (this one isn't looking too good, it's too rounded i think), with that i can stay in clean air, with wind directly on my Shark Speed-R, having only wind noise and no more head shaking or air "rumbling" around it. 2) a wind deflector, like the MRA X-Creen, using that with the stock screen is possible (i've seen here on the forum another user with that) and i've read on another forum that a deflector is very useful for the elimination of the turbulences (that thread was about the Givi Shield+ deflector). I'm very confused... the pricing is almost the same (about 90 euros for the Ermax Sport Screen and 80euros for the MRA XCreen)...
