  1. Got mine installed a couple days ago and I think this is very well said, not too much louder than stock but just enough with a lot more bass and grunt. It's plenty loud with baffle in definitely not going to touch it. Glad you like it! I'm loving mine a bit more with every ride.
  2. Sorry for my lack of updates. After a couple weeks of riding, I'm loving this exhaust. It's definitely louder than stock, but it's not obnoxious and is fine at constant highway speeds. Tone is a bigger difference from stock, though. It's beefier, gruntier, meaner, racier. It's a bit intoxicating and makes you wanna crack the throttle just a liiiittle bit more... I've noticed a performance increase, as well. Pulls hard without any lean spots. Though that may be due more to the excellent tune from @2wheeldynoworks. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
  3. It comes with a baffle installed. I'm not sure if it can be removed. There's a plastic plug covering what I'd assume is a screw hole on the end of the can, but I haven't popped it off to see if removing the baffle is feasible. It's loud enough for me with it in. Maybe @jdm197 has more info. Also - got my flashed ECU back from @2wheeldynoworks yesterday. I'll pop it back in the bike this weekend. They [em]did not[/em] yet have a custom flash for this exhaust, but they do have one for the R-77 with baffle in. It's so close in design that they're confident it'll run great. I'll reply with updates once I get her back on the road and give her a good shellacking.
  4. Notice much of a difference power wise compared to stock? Probably going to get this eventually just wondering how much of a necessity it is to do the flash right away. I had read somewhere that running an aftermarket exhaust on a bike without a flash tune can be kind of funky.I think what's been said here is correct - the Akra and Yoshi exhausts are approved by and sold by Yamaha, so they don't technically need a reflash. But I already had my stock exhaust reflashed by @2wheeldynoworks and it was WELL worth the investment. It also included lifetime reflashes, so I'm just taking advantage of that. I haven't ridden it with the Yoshi exhaust yet. Installed the exhaust and pulled the ECU on the same day. I should have the ECU back mid-next week. I'll let you know my seat-of-the-pants review...
  5. Just threw this exhaust on my FJ-09. Louder than stock, but not obnoxiously loud. Deeper, punchier tone. Easy install. Very happy with it! Sending my ECU out to @2wheeldynoworks for a reflash shortly. Derek says they've got a tune for this new exhaust already.
  6. Hey jdm - a month later, how are you liking this exhaust? Still happy with it?
  7. Yep, I've had this happen once under similar circumstances. Mid-40 degree weather with quick burst of acceleration. Oil light came on once I let off the throttle. Pulled over, shut her off, and started her back up again. No light. I chalked it up to a sensor glitch and haven't thought about it since. I've ridden another 10,000 miles since then with no problems whatsoever.
