Rode it to Greater Yamaha to meet my wife and purchase her first bike. We welcomed a 2015 R3 to the family today.

From its shape I'm pretty certain thats a shorty Ermax screen. There's a supporting vendor on the boards for them. I have their tall touring screen and like it a lot. Wind noise on any shorty screen will be brutal. It doesn't do anything other then direct wind at your chest. It's marginally better then riding 100% fairing free. I have a shorty calsci screen for hot summer riding and that mini Ermax will do the same thing. Basically and aesthetic mod only. Zero protection from wind blast. I added a pair of CRG black shorty levers to my FJ today. Had the same ones on the old Ducati and loved the feel. Fit was perfect as expected from a quality component. You get what you pay for when it comes to controls.

Today was farkle city. Installed the new integrated tail light. It's crazy bright and I love the strobe effect on brake application. It WILL be noticed. Pulled the tank and air box to install a graves smog pump block off kit. Was pretty straightforward and all decel popping from the Akrapovic exhaust is now gone. While I had air box out I put the K&N filter in also. Finally I added the hand guard led light kit. Was a productive day off from work.

Did the EXACT same thing as you only I also added my fender eliminator and the micro chicklet LED's like I saw on another guys FJ on here

Got both the CalSci windshields. Was a little cool (65 by FL standards) so I opted to try out the tall windscreen. Started off in the high position and immediately pulled over to lower it. I'm 5'9" and it was right across my sight line. In the low position it worked perfect. The little cut out above the gauges did just what they claimed and there is almost zero buffeting in the pocket between the shield and your body. Very little wind felt across my helmet. I could tell it was just hitting above my visor as I could feel a nice cool blast in the helmet vents. I'll try the shorty later this week when it gets back up to 75 lol

Had these levers on my Ducati I traded for the FJ. Miss them. May have to pull the trigger on those. Thanks for continuing to empty my wallet.
