Would it be possible to wire in switches? Anyone wishing to use a switch to quickly able or disable the fuse can use this and it's available at Amazon. Simply plug into the fuse location you wish to disable and use standard connectors to a switch. You can also install an in line fuse between the switch and the fuse location so you will have the fuse should it need to deal with a short. Used one to disable the vehicle dynamic control on my Subaru. Worked great, on and off at the flick of a switch! Sat on the FJ, opened the garage door and watched the snow build up on the driveway. Later I'm going to go to the drug store and watch them fill prescriptions.

P.S. My mileage seems to have improved slightly. Only a hundred miles today but it was showing 53mph. Granted I took it easy with the winter sand on the road but Nels said I'd probably see a slight increase.

Our average temperature in Minnesota for the 27th of February is around 35 degrees. Today it hit 61. Needless to say The FJ got fired up and put about 100 miles on. It was the first time with the reflash that Nels had done. Day and night difference. I did the "A" mode start up and you'd think you were in "B" or Standard. The on off jerkiness was almost totally gone even when when you were driving around town. And none at all when you were running through the gears. In "B" mode for around town it was an absolute joy to ride. My hats off to 2 Wheel Dyno Works. The best money I spent so far. Sure felt nice to get out and ride. Tomorrow, 36 and snow showers. BAH!!!!!!!!

You missed the gas tank and windscreen. LOL

I think the 20 mile oil and filter change is a good idea just for the purpose of getting any extraneous left over metal from the milling process. Getting any particles out of the engine and filter certainly cant't hurt.

Looked at my FJ, looked at the snow and then went and looked at a 1947 Luscombe for sale. Looked good, might by it!

Just got some Chinese shorty levers for $39.99 and was surprised. The fit and and finish were as good as any $150 pair. I hated to buy Chinese but I couldn't pass up the price. riverfox: It would be nice if you LINKED your reference to who recommend removing the foam attached to the gas tank for better air flow. If you do this, why not write up a How To and post it. ThanksIt's actually from 2 wheel Dyno Works and it is in his pictorial on removing the the ECU. Hope this gets you to it. Removing Your FJ-09 ECU! | FJ-09 Forums Sorry not much of a computer guy and couldn't get you a direct link. Just search ECU removal on this sight and near the end you see it. You just peel it off the underside of the front portion of the tank.

Just got my ECU back from 2wheeldynoworks. Fired up the portable heater and pointed it towards the FJ. 20 minutes later it was warm enough to reassemble. Actually remembered where all the different panels and bolts went even after two weeks of them sitting in my parts bowl. They recommended removing the foam attached to the gas tank to free up a bit more air flow. Has anyone done this and does it have that nice sound by the somewhat less restricted air?
