I took mine on a two up tour with hard panniers and topbox + pillion, i jacked up the preload to 10mm on the front and one off hardest on the rear. Had a little run on the autobahn up to 125Mph and it was steady up to 125MPH, where it got the slightest bit of movement on the bars, nothing to worrying but backed it down from there. I think the bike is staable at speed as long as its set up OK. I have softened the rear up for one up riding, but the front i have gone to 12mm on which is a bit harder than std but feels MUCH better on the twisties than the 18mm the dealer set it at!

Hi Korben, I noticed the cross winds more with the larger screen, not to bad with the Yam one- both are brillant after the Blackbird- Hated that bike in crosswinds!! it felt like the wind was blowing the front wheel from under it! coming back through France she could here me on the motorway swearing at it! LOl

I fitted the Garmin, had to order a 30mm U bolt to go in the middle of the bars and it was slightly big for the Ram mount bracket so had to drill it out ever so slightly. The Sat Nav now fits right between the bars with the U bolt nr centre and can have at any height I want- perfect. Fitted the rad guard, glad I paid the extra for the Yam one as it looks good, fits well and seems strong. Fitted the Powerbronze tall screen, not a keeper as directs the wind even at 30mph at my eyes (should have visor down but dont always) taken off and returned to original at lowest setting (i,m 5`10 with short legs) next job is fender extenders and mirror risers- got them both so maybe this week.

Today i moved the mirrors out 3 or 4 turns on the threads to get a bit more view behind, and adjusted gear change to slightly higher position to improve gear changes- then took it out for an hour to test said mods :-) time taken 10 mins (+test ride) cost - naff all, result - slight improvement to mirrors, good improvement to gear change.

Race Blu for me, just gets rid of the which ones faster issue as its the RACE model!
