  1. I recently towed 2 bikes to NC and back, 1,200 miles with my Mustang. We averaged 80 mph on the Interstate and once we got up to speed you really couldn't feel the bikes. I also towed a very large pop up camper all over New England with a Firebird when I was a kid. Also put radials on your trailer if your doing interstate speeds.
  2. The one in Waynesville is awesome, if there's a better place to eat in the Smokies I haven't found it yet.
  3. Stopped to pick up some supplies in NC, didn't have our masks but we did have face coverings.
  4. They also closed the Dragon yesterday 😟 North Carolina county stopping Cherohala Skyway traffic from entering county THP issued a notice to motorists on Friday about the Graham County...
  5. Took it out for a spin on a beautiful day, this is about a mile from my place and that pretty valley behind my bike is soon to be turned into a solar farm complements of my local power company. 😟
  6. A friend I ride with has a F800gt that I have ridden many times and I can tell you the bike is underrated, I will easily be riding 5+ mph faster in the twisties on that bike than my FJ and the smoothness of that belt drive will spoil you quick.
  7. I think motorcycles ruined my chances of dating any of the girls that lived in my neighborhood when I was a kid, luckily with a bike I was able to sneak through the woods and backroads to get to other towns nearby where their parents didn't know me yet. 🙄
  8. Seems like more riders think the beaks look better now than they did when they were selling for $175 bucks 😲
  9. The FJR-ES is a great bike if you live where its real cold but not down here in the south, I had one for a few years and that bike cooked me real good on a few trips up to the Smokies.
  10. A friend of mine has a farm in Weaverville NC and I have stayed there on many riding trips over the years, the biggest problem we have riding out of that location is deciding witch way to go every day because the riding is great in every direction.
  11. Nice riding weather here in Florida now that the weather has finally cooled down, that's the road in front of my place.
  12. I have no idea if these things work and as noisy as the fj is I doubt anyone could tell the difference, but with all the nickel and dime cost cutting going on in the global powersports industry you have to wonder why would they put something on a bike if it did nothing. 13. How wide did the adjustable wrench have to open to fit the sensor? Should have just gotten an adjustable metric wrench.
  14. About time, I was getting tired of dodging them tar snakes.
  15. Nice, very cool place it's like a jungle in there.
  16. BP manages to do plenty of stuff cheaper in the US and many other countries where the politicians are hungry for their contributions, I'd walk before I bought fuel from them scoundrels.
  17. Downright scary when you consider the price of fuel affects the price of just about everything else, fuel at $6 bucks a gallon and the USA would be out of business.
  18. Just roll through Atlanta at rush hour duhs10, that allways scares peep out of me.
