Trailering FJ with my vette
britelitebob replied to Brian's topic in FJ-09 Tracer 900 General Discussions
I recently towed 2 bikes to NC and back, 1,200 miles with my Mustang. We averaged 80 mph on the Interstate and once we got up to speed you really couldn't feel the bikes. I also towed a very large pop up camper all over New England with a Firebird when I was a kid. Also put radials on your trailer if your doing interstate speeds. -

What did you do to your FJ-tracer-gt today?
britelitebob replied to yamaham's topic in FJ-09 Tracer 900 General Discussions
The one in Waynesville is awesome, if there's a better place to eat in the Smokies I haven't found it yet. -

Have you been to the Haywood Smokehouse? -

They also closed the Dragon yesterday 😟 North Carolina county stopping Cherohala Skyway traffic from entering county THP issued a notice to motorists on Friday about the Graham County...

Took it out for a spin on a beautiful day, this is about a mile from my place and that pretty valley behind my bike is soon to be turned into a solar farm complements of my local power company. 😟 -
BMW F900XR (2020) review
britelitebob replied to daboo's topic in FJ-09 Tracer 900 General Discussions
A friend I ride with has a F800gt that I have ridden many times and I can tell you the bike is underrated, I will easily be riding 5+ mph faster in the twisties on that bike than my FJ and the smoothness of that belt drive will spoil you quick. -
Have motorcycles ruined you??
britelitebob replied to johnmark101's topic in FJ-09 Tracer 900 General Discussions
I think motorcycles ruined my chances of dating any of the girls that lived in my neighborhood when I was a kid, luckily with a bike I was able to sneak through the woods and backroads to get to other towns nearby where their parents didn't know me yet. 🙄 -
To beak or not to beak .....
britelitebob replied to fivesteezy's topic in FJ-09 Parts and Accessory reviews
Seems like more riders think the beaks look better now than they did when they were selling for $175 bucks 😲 -
Front master cylinder failure
britelitebob replied to fddriver2's topic in FJ-09 Known issues and solutions
The FJR-ES is a great bike if you live where its real cold but not down here in the south, I had one for a few years and that bike cooked me real good on a few trips up to the Smokies. -
best cities to live for motorcycling
britelitebob replied to wanderer's topic in FJ-09 Tracer 900 General Discussions
A friend of mine has a farm in Weaverville NC and I have stayed there on many riding trips over the years, the biggest problem we have riding out of that location is deciding witch way to go every day because the riding is great in every direction. -
Nice riding weather here in Florida now that the weather has finally cooled down, that's the road in front of my place.

Wow, how many DWI's have you had? -
I have no idea if these things work and as noisy as the fj is I doubt anyone could tell the difference, but with all the nickel and dime cost cutting going on in the global powersports industry you have to wonder why would they put something on a bike if it did nothing. Anyway here's what these guys say: Home › JT Front Sprockets JT Sprockets is the world's leading manufacturer of aftermarket sprockets, constantly raising the industry's standards for quality and service. Committed to supplying the most durable, best quality sprockets available in the marketplace worldwide. JT produce and sell more sprockets than all the other aftermarket brands combined. Out now the new RB series: Rubber cushioned sprockets have been standard fitment on Japanese motorcycle manufacturers on larger capacity motorcycles since the early 1990’s to dampen the chain impact on the teeth of the front sprocket. JT sprockets now offer selected replacement front sprockets with the same OEM proven technology. Benefits include Tough rubber damper which significantly reduces transmission noise. Improved wear resistance and reduced vibration that will help extend both sprocket and chain life. The JT Sprockets Rubber cushioned front sprocket range meet or exceed all OEM quality standards. With over 18 million produced each year, JT sells more sprockets than all other aftermarket brands combined. The main player in the market place for over twenty-five years, their popularity is a true testament to the quality and unbeatable value that's standard with each JT sprocket.

How wide did the adjustable wrench have to open to fit the sensor? Should have just gotten an adjustable metric wrench. -

About time, I was getting tired of dodging them tar snakes.

BP manages to do plenty of stuff cheaper in the US and many other countries where the politicians are hungry for their contributions, I'd walk before I bought fuel from them scoundrels.
-
Downright scary when you consider the price of fuel affects the price of just about everything else, fuel at $6 bucks a gallon and the USA would be out of business.

Just roll through Atlanta at rush hour duhs10, that allways scares peep out of me.
