  1. Picture gone again Answered my question but may be useful for other.
  2. Thanks you much ULEWZ! Why remove the dog bone? interference? Still loving your suspension setup?
  3. Looking into the Penske 8983 for my FJ-09 and had a few questions on where adjustments are made. Probably a suspension novice question but here goes: Did I get this right? Also can the ride height be adjusted with the shock installed on the bike? Thanks!
  4. Just installed the FJ-09 Parabellum Flyscreeen and I will be writing up a full comparison between the Parabellum and the Ermax Sport screen once I put some more mileage on both. So far I can say this: The Parabellum Flyscreeen shown is the tint model and offers similar wind protection to the stock FJ-09 screen with substantially less buffeting and cleaner air. Cleanest air is in the low position and shoulders are hit with very light wind. I would say the body is pretty well protected. I was surprised how effective it was for its size. I also rode with the Ermax sport screen. Also do like it. But I would say the upper body is less protected from the wind than the Parabellum. Also the Parabellum can be used in all three adjustable heights with out hand guard interference. The Ermax can be used in low and med positions but in the high position the hand guards interfere during full lock of the bars. Until I have more time with both Ill say both are a drastic improvement over the stock screen when it comes to buffeting and noise. The Ermax I would consider possibly a better choice for HOT summer with more wind exposed to the helmet. The Parabellum Flyscreeen seems a better choice for more wind protection even in cooler weather especially the upper body/ shoulders. 5. Looks darn good. Spent most of last night switching between the Graves site and the Akrapovic site. I see you have the DB killer in on the Graves. I know sound is very subjective and having the Graves already, you better love it ;-) But hows the sound? I guess I'm more concerned on how loud it is. Not looking for retarded loud but just to know I'm on a darn motorcycle! The two I'm looking at is either the Graves or Akrapovic Ti since I would like to keep the centerstand without much fuss. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated and also congrats on the purchase.
  6. Well I just spoke to my local dealer (here in Virginia) and he says he can do this: (Shipping not included) $85 per manual - 1+ order $80 per manual - 5+ order $75 per manual - 20+ order The part number for the service manual is LIT-11616-28-46. He does show them as available. Shipping: He ships via UPS and will charge you whatever it cost him to ship it. Payment: Unless there is a better way, you can call him yourself and place the order over the phone. So no need to give me any of your information. I have no idea how many people are truly interested in this group buy so I gave him what I thought was an optimistic number of 20 manuals to see what he would do on price, $75 was the number. I did not ask but I figure if we get anywhere close to 20 he would probably do the $75 price. Let me know what you think...... Gabe
  7. I'm definitely interested. I just need to know what I'm getting, so a question or two. Simply due to lack of knowledge and being a world bike (FJ-09/Tracer) Is there different versions of the manual? eg. USA, Canadia, Europe, etc....? Just want to make sure I don't get one in Korean ;-P Do you happen to have the PN for this manual? As for shipping, I'm ok with PM you my info or something through paypal. Not really versed in group buys. Any thoughts? Thanks for trying to get this done!
  8. Thanks Markvr I going to check out the sw-motech bags. Here's to hoping some of this good stuff makes it over to this side of the pond.
  9. I'm totally in on a group buy. I think its a splendid idea.
  10. So whats the story with these? I see them popping up on the interwebs but no one is talking about them. Personally love the look. Are they out and where?
