Found that the pic I posted was of one someone on the internet had photoshopped the color. Too bad, but maybe it will push Yamaha to consider it down the road.

Could the issue of the bracket breaking be more of a problem with it's (the bracket) design, not so much if a specific larger windshield is being used?

I have, and many others have... front and rear. They work very well. I recall the rear required some filing i order to retain the 'click' action. I recently swapped out the pegs to the ones shown above in hopes that they would help minimize the buzz in the pegs- not much difference noticed. Mainly an issue running at 70-75mph. Anyone find a trick to lessen the peg vibes?

Duhs10, maybe that type of lock would work with the saddlebags after seeing your picture with bags in place.

Too bad that type of lock won't work too well for those who use any type of saddlebags.

Has anyone found a way to minimize the vibration in the right footpeg? Have swapped the original ones to the FZ-6/FJR style with the rubber pad but the vibration coming through the peg around 5k rpm's is annoying.

When using the type of mirror extender above there can be clearance issues with the handlebar controls?

Regarding the 2 different chain adjusters shown in the last couple posts, how critical is it really for the tolerance of the adjuster to capture the head of the axle. Once the axle is tightened to the proper torque spec. does it make enough of a difference to be concerned?

From the picture online it appears the eBay adjusters have some generous tolerances between the axle nut and adjuster. On the LighTech, looks about the same? It's by Lightech. It has a very precise scale and the adjusters at the end have detents when you spin them so it's very easy to align the rear tire. It also positively locates the rear axle so you don't have to worry about it moving on you as you tighten the axle nut back up. Our local Harley dealers will walk around the bike with you when drop it off and note any pre-existing marks, damage, etc. on your bike-more shops should do that!

What feedback have the FZ09 owners given-do they notice a change for the better?

Picked up the bike from having the riser & cct recalls done, and installed the new Sargent DTX seats. Last week I installed the Kappa luggage rack with their Km5m mounting plate to mount my Give E340 case.

Piotrek, I bought one a while back, found it will come in contact with the centerstand when you raise the side stand-cut off/ground off the aluminum so it clears now. Otherwise a nice piece for $10.

Installed a pair of the Koubalink mirror extenders as well as a Kappa-branded KR2122 rack & top case plate KM5M for use of my Givi top case. It's not just the hole letting road grime through, it's lack of a proper hugger/rear fender. I don't think just plugging that small hole will do much. You may want to make a mud guard/splash guard like redfjniner made, it would be more effective than plugging the hole you referenced. https://fj-09.org/thread/526/flap-protect-rear-shock-road

Checked with Flash Tune and their response is that it is not in their development plans (to have a cruise control option with their ecu tunes for the FJ-09.)

Add to that the cost of the Super Tenere switch housing for about another $140. If I were to add cruise today, I'd tend to lean towards the McCruise & ST switch housing. Has been proven to work w/o issue.
