  1. I have a set of their lights and am pleased with them. they have been installed for a couple years with no issues. I have them wired to the headlights so they are only on once the bike is running and if I turn the brights on, they go to the brighter setting. I just looked at the links, I have the big square ones that have low and high settings. I have looked at the ones you linked and think they will work very well. I chose the ones I have because I do ride at night enough to want/need brighter lights.
  2. I have always used 91 in the bike. I think it runs better and I "feel" like I notice a different from different brands. Shell seems to be the most noticeable for how the bike feels, as far as better.
  3. That is awesome. Are they just parking lights, could you make them switch back lights to be used as turn signals
  4. Replaced my clutch cable today for the R1 cable that’s been sitting in my side case for the passed couple years. I have 18k miles on the bike and after seeing the frayed cable above and it feeling really stiff, it was time. I can’t believe much it is fully adjusted out. It’s super smooth now though and worth it to have full turn ability back.
  5. I have the same bag and it is cocked just like yours. It bothered me at first but have just lived with for over two years now.
  6. It’s been in the high 70 low 80 here. The weatherman says winter might visit for a little while next week. I didn’t do anything to the bike but did get new riding boots today.
  7. I had just under 16k miles when I changed the sprockets and chain. the sprockets actually looked alright, I was just told from multiple people that if I change the chain then change the sprockets at the same time. I was on a high mileage road trip and the day before I left, to go home, we noticed the chain was extremely loose. we ran out and got it tightened at a shop and he suggested that I change out everything. the next day when I got home, after about 4-500 miles, the chain was just as loose. I actually just got done going through the lines to make sure there was nothing weird and bled the brakes again, the feel in the controls feels better but I have not ridden it yet. I really do need to change the pads, but they are the factory ones right now. I will probably change them out soon.
  8. Replaced the brake lines with braided ones, new chain, and front /rear sprockets. The new drive chain feels awesome but the brakes don’t feel as amazing as I thought they would.
  9. Put on the Akrapovic titanium exhaust and graves block off plate. I have the silencer out for now and it is LOUD.
  10. nope I have the gray one with luggage attached to it. here's a picture
  11. Installed my beak this weekend, and it is amazing! The material quality is great, and looks like it should have been there from the factory. I highly recommend it.
  12. Sweet! Thanks for the pics, can't wait to get mine!
  13. this is awesome, just ordered one. how does it install?
  14. yeah I am very satisfied that I put them on. heated grips will be a must on every bike I get now
  15. I have the hornet x2 and the rf1200. the rf1200 is way more aero dynamic but I love the beak. the 20s works and installs just fine on both helmets. on a road trip I went through some rain and found that turning my head complete right and left deflects the water well while going freeway speeds rather then using the squeegee on my glove. changing the visor out on the rf is way quicker then the x2 so if I know i'm going to be out late then I wear the rf so I can switch to the clear visor quicker. the x2 is matte black and the rf is white.
  16. since the cold weather is upon us soon, I installed the OEM heated grips after work today. I have not ridden with them on yet, but I'm sure they will be awesome
  17. I just had my 4k miles service done and the recall done. I have noticed that the bike is running smoother and that noise is not there anymore. when I scheduled the drop off I mentioned the recall and they had the part ready for me. I scheduled about two weeks ahead.
  18. I have a shoei rf1200 and hornet x2. They are both just a comfortable but the hornet does get tossed around a little bit more in high cross winds
