Do you still have the Puig Touring screen?

Really glad to see these high mileages, helps put any anxieties to rest.

I think this is a really good looking screen, how is the noise level, is it any quieter than OEM?

I'm going to try it as well, I need to find something that works.

I installed the same eBay chain adjusters shown here and I don't think there is enough engagement of the nut with is design either. In order to get at least one thread showing I had to remove the washer. Is not having the washer under the nut going to cause any problems? I know there will be wear on the adjuster when removing/installing the nut, but I am not too worried about that.

Just had the TSB completed again. The new tensioner, which I was told was the latest from Yamaha (who knows what that means at this point) is externally identical to the last one I had put in, cast "S2" and red dot. Not sure if that means anything or not, but the noise is gone, and I'm happy for now.

After being told last week that the CCT my dealer had on order wouldn't ship until Dec, they called today and it has been delivered. I'll be glad to have it changed out next week, hope this time it lasts.

Just talked to the dealer (has my bike in for it's second CCT replacement at 1600 miles, parts have been back ordered), the new ship date I was quoted is Dec. 2cnd.

Just got a call from the dealership that has my bike, now the ship date for the backordered CCT kit is 9/29.

Mine is a 2015, not sure of the manufacture date and I didn't record any of the markings on the original CCT.

Just talked to the parts guy, according to him the CCT is backordered and the expected ship date is 9/22. And just for reference, the first time I had the TSB completed the new CCT had a red dot and S2.

I'll call them tomorrow to check on the parts order status.

At 1700 miles, mine ('15 bought this summer) is in the shop to have the SB completed for the second time. Currently it is waiting on parts but the shop made no mention of a back order, and only called them in 4-5 days ago.
