  1. I replaced one bolt at a time with the bike on the center stand. It didn't need any additional support.
  2. I ordered the motocentric pants and the zipper on the pockets only lasted a day. I hope the bags are of better quality.
  3. It's getting frosty in the mornings here too. I think my days of riding to work are over.
  4. Today I changed the oil and filter myself after having the dealer do it last time. The dealer had the filter on so tight that I broke my strap wrench and punching a screw driver through it didn't work either. I finally got it out using a vise grip
  5. Cincinnati. I spotted 2 riders last Sunday in Kentucky. Anyone form here?
  6. It was 46 a few days back. The temperature swings are a little extreme this year
  7. I installed the vstream sport touring windscreen and took it for a highway ride to test all 3 configuration. Low setting - decent airflow but a little wind noise. No buffeting Medium settjng - slightly less airflow, minimal wind noise High setting -no wind noise, minimal air flow over the helmet. It gets warm on a hot day
  8. How easy/difficult is the installation? I have the tools, but I read that getting the old grips off can be a PITA
  9. Yes it is. It's meant to be in the center, but I put it at the top
  10. After couple of weeks, whats your verdict about the lowered seat? Also, did you used Yamahas OEM one or something else? Being a similar height low rider like you, I have been thinking the lower seat. Not so keen about lowering the whole bike.. Fist post to the forum. Greetings from Finland 8-) To be honest, it's not as comfortable as the stock seat, but I got used to it. I need to move around after every 100 miles
  11. I installed the lowered seat. Being 5'8", I can now comfortably reach the ground and back out of tight spots. It also corners better since I'm sitting about an inch lower. But, it's like sitting on a rock. I'll have to take her out on a long ride to see if it's bearable.
