  1. Yes, drop the first zero. RN37E - JYARN37E are 49 state bikes, RN37Y are California bikes. Focus on the last bit of numbers to see if you are affected. That extra 0 is from the "Primary ID" of the bike that Yamaha also uses, similar to the VIN but a little different.
  2. I expect we'll get letters. If you don't want to wait, call your dealer and ask them to pull the TSB and make an appointment.
  3. It takes a while for it to filter around. When the "Intent to recall" for the shift shaft issue came out in the US, it took a couple of weeks for it to make it's way around the world. So far, this isn't a recall, but a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin). Not sure if it will become a recall, seems enough bikes are affected to do the TSB but not enough to issue a general recall. Still, good on Yamaha for responding.
  4. Yamaha USA has announced a service campaign to address CCT noise and failure. Like with the shift shaft recall, I expect this to be a world wide thing but I don't have access to information from other markets.
  5. There were listings for all of that from the same seller in Italy on eBay. This guy: http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odkw=&_ssn=vincenzocalabrese&_armrs=1&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2046732.m570.l1312.R2.TR0.TRC2.A0.H0.TRS4&_nkw=roof&_sacat=0 When I ordered it I also ordered the iridium shield (super dark, would get a bit lighter shield if I were doing it again) and I failed to tighten the fastener on one side and lost the screw and the cap and had to order them from him as well.
  6. I love my Roof Boxer V8, had to get it off ebay from Italy since they don't export to the US. http://www.roof.fr/en/product/boxer-v8-grafic/
  7. Can you post a picture of the flasher sync and wires? I may be able to figure it out.
  8. I did not order the kit with the flasher so unfortunately I can't help out there. The instructions end with "and here are the spare terminals" so I wanted to show how I decided to wire them in to help other folks. Was at the dealer earlier, helped them sell and FJ-09 and showed them these LEDs. They are going to order some now. They look GREAT on the bike, IMO.
  9. Took my time lining everything up. Automatic center punch. I used a 3/16" drill bit. Nuts secure on the back side, install both screws and spacers at the same time, be gentle and tighten them up. Looking good so far. The spare terminal. I stripped back the wires a bit, combined them and installed them in the connector. Job done.
  10. Piece of cake. Took less than an hour, I'll post pictures later today.
  11. I ordered on May 24 and they showed up today (North Carolina). Shipping estimate was June 10th. Good packaging, good quality. I'll document the installation when I get to it.
