  1. The reason was stated in the first sentence. That hugger was purchased from a company in France back in 2015. I can't find any emails regarding that purchase, sorry.
  2. I actually got $7600 for it as two guys wanted it!
  3. I'm going to try and sell my 2015 Red FJ-09 since my girlfriend of 4 yrs and I only ride our BMW K1600GT all the time. The BMW is simply a better two up option. But...here it goes. An incredible list of features and options. I will not sell anything separate. Located near Charlotte, NC. $7500 - 34,000 miles Electronic Cruise Control, 2 Wheel Dynoworks ECU reflash (standard), Heated Grips, Sargent Seat, Givi Windscreen, Motodynamics Sequencing Brakelight, LED Sequencing Turn Signals, LED Handguard Lights, Mirror Extenders, Slipper Clutch Kit installed, Cogent Dynamics Rear Shock, FJR1300 Hard Luggage, Yamaha 39L Top Case, SW Motech Skidplate, Tenere front pegs, TPMS System, Wireless Charging phone holder, (2) 12VDC Outlets, Sparkbright Voltage Monitor,
  4. Nah, it's not my first BMW, so I'm well aware of the good and bad. It's a 2012 Vermillian Red with all the options. 37K miles for $8500 with 3 yrs left on the extended warranty. That last part sold me. Immaculate condition. Quite happy.
  5. Interesting! It's different between MY2015 FJ-09 and the 2019 Tracer 900 GT. I stand corrected!
  6. All 3 performed quite well and never stepped out in the rain.
  7. I've run the Roadtec 01, Road 5, and RS3. The RS3 lasted longest and wore most evenly.
  8. Simply aim your Hi-Beam down to about the same level and run them both all the time. I did that years ago and love it.
  9. Hmmm...that's identical to the Givi D2122S.
  10. I've had one installed on my 39L top case for a few years now. No issues. My girlfriend enjoys the back support.
  11. No, that "whistle" seems to be a characteristic of 3 cylinder platforms. Love it! Remember the K75 "Whistling Brick"? I can get the bike up to speed, pull in the clutch (engine at idle) and hear a distinct "whirl" sound with a frequency that matches the speed of the bike. It's not tire noise, but absolutely attributed to the new front sprocket. It's gotten less pronounced after almost 1K miles, but it's still there. Honestly, I love the smoothness of this setup and with the sound diminishing over time, I might just leave it as is, even with a damped sprocket in the mail tomorrow. You can hear it during the last 8 seconds of the video, when I pull in the clutch. I'm only going about 20MPH, so it's not very loud.
  12. I just replaced the chain and sprockets on my 2015 FJ-09. Sprocket Center had no damped front sprocket in stock, so I went with a JT 16/45 steel combination with DID 525-VX chain. Although super smooth, the undamped front sprocket has a siren sound that has NOT gone away after 700 miles, so I'll be replacing that with an OEM damped sprocket later this week.
  13. I've got a Coats 220 in the garage and balancer. Love it.
  14. Look at the :23 mark of the video and then :48 mark. Watch the hub compared to the swingarm....it's out of round! Something is AMISS and it probably has to do with the setup and assembly.
  15. Oh my! I installed a Cogent rear shock too, but didn't have to remove the swingarm. But hey, it's done! ...and you have an awesome shock!
  16. Can you get better pictures? Looking closely at those, it appears that both of the hard bags are scuffed and the right engine guard. The CCT is nothing. Just replace with an APE unit. Clutch cable, cheap. Price is SPANKING good, but it may have lived a hard life being dropped on both sides.
  17. Well, they are 9 hours ahead of you, so it was Monday morning for them. 😁
  18. The Tiregard TPMS is a good system. I've mounted the sensors inside the tire rim using Doran Manufacturing valve stems with the lock ring.
  19. It doesn't need to be perfect. As long as the cam lobes are facing away from each other. Also, I ordered my Pro-X replacement shims from https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com and received them in 1 day. Great price and service. You'll need shims that are 7.48mm OD.
  20. Here's what I did, bought these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H3CQ64Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and this: https://www.amazon.com/Radians-CEP001-Custom-Molded-Earplugs/dp/B003A28P0M?th=1 Then used the combination of the two to make a nice set of custom molded earbuds that work perfectly with my bluetooth communicators. Effective, comfortable noise attenuation that stays in the ear and allows you listen clearly to the music or communications at a lower volume.
