  1. So emailed them & they are confirmed that the only option is to wait for them to re-open. So patience i suppose
  2. Hi @Wintersdark : where in Canada did you order the Tutoro from? The UK option is currently closed and I was wondering if there is a dealer in Canada. A search only showed up Europe for me.
  3. im a bit of a wiring noob... looking to connect a rear light bar to the indicators & brake lights... could you share how you wired yours?
  4. Weekend ride around the adirondack mountains with @piotrek
  5. This was a super useful thread as @Piotrek & me installed the heated grips on my bike over this last weekend... many thanx @Ulewz
  6. If you don't mind, could you please tell me what other options you considered and why you choose Shad over those? I was all in for Shad cases initially but after checking Givi Dolomiti and Outback series I am thinking top loader cases would be much more functional compared to side loaders and to me those looks a bit cleaner (just my opinion) The others considered were the yamaha oem (too small & pricey) and the top loading options. I did not go with the top loading options for 2 reasons: 1. Their boxy shape did not appeal to me. Felt out of sync with the bike 2. To access anything at the bottom in between a ride felt like it would be a PITA. With side loading (and the lip) i can easily access stuff while on a ride without having pull everything out - non-linear access vs Last in First out. Also each side case can take a full face helmet when required. When carrying something broad and / or non regular shape, easier to fit in given that half of the saddle box opens up vs only the top lid for a top loader etc etc Disclaimer - these were just my requirements & criteria and therefore could be very different from others here.
  7. Went through a few options. Settled on the Sh36 & Sh48 combo. Did a 600km ride in terrible rain this week from Toronto to montreal. Not a drop of water in! I did get the bags included complimentary when ordering the set from Shad US. Makes travelling very easy & I highly recommend. Also never noticed the difference in terms of bike width while riding.
  8. Got the first service done. Preferred the dealer for this one to get a record in place.
  9. Discovered that on the 2017, the bike starts in the mode you switch it off in, which is apparently not the case on the earlier models?
  10. As far as a shorty windscreen goes it works just fine, nice clean air around the helmet and whatnot. It's a little crooked, the holes are not drilled symmetrical which was kind of a bummer but it was $26 so I can't really complain too much I suppose. It's a little thin I feel, flops around a lot when you hit bumps and stuff. Also does not look as good in person as I thought it would. One thing it did for me that I'm grateful for is make me realize that I absolutely want a shorty screen. Chopped the stock one down but I took a little too much off but oh well that thing is useless anyhow. Helpful.... thank you
  11. Any feedback on the windscreen? Was contemplating calling for one via ebay.
  12. Yes, I'd recommend it but for light GPS and on a short arm. I have an automotive 5" Nuvi on there. It does vibrate a little, but it isn't bad at all. The SW-Motech assembly was heavy and had to extend away from the ball a bit more... vibrated a lot. If you're thinking GoPro... I'd find another mount. Perfect.. was looking at it for my 5" Zumo... will just go ahead & call for it. thanks!
  13. Are you using the cosmo-moto plate for the mount up front? And would you recommend it? I.e. No vibes etc.
  14. from Oakville, joining afresh with a 2017 white booked.. delivery next week
