  1. Yes thanks for asking. I carefully used minimal force with a chisel to try to open the perch. It didnt seem like it did anything but I was able to get the lever back in with a little bit of tapping with a mallet. It moves fine as well which I was most worried a about.
  2. Nope which tells me sanding probably wont help. I might have pinched it which seems ridiculous but what can ya do.
  3. Doesn't go in regardless of the cable or not sadly.
  4. Ha, thanks yeah i can try to get some sandpaper but i too think it was pinched but i am definitely scared to try to open it up with a prybar.
  5. Hey guys. I installed a set of MZS on my bike and wasn't crazy about them so I took them off. I DID make a mistake when I put the handguards back on (clutch side) i used the bolt for the lever instead of the mirror to install the top handguard bracket. I corrected it and moved on. When trying to put the stock clutch lever back in its super hard to get back in and I cannot figure out why. Any type of lubrication wont matter even tapped it with a hammer which was a struggle. Here are a few pics. Any ideas? TIA
  6. I wish I never bought the X grip because this thing is amazing. I had the same issue with the power button being pressed on my Motorola phone, no more with this thing. You can move the pins also. I only use 3 and its amazingly sturdy. I paid like 16 bucks for it on amazon not long ago. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0088LL7UA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  7. Welcome! Perhaps you can send me a bottle of 12 year West Cork Sherry or Port Cask! Getting harder to find here in New York!!! Cheers.
  8. I too looked for a while and i needed something small due to the tank having plastic in the way and settled on the Cortech Super 2.0 Low Profile Tank Bag Its awesome and expandable. The magnets never scratch the tank.
  9. Hey guys, Was curious what mirror extenders you are using. I have these: Twisted Throttle But these only give the option to raise the mirrors not use to extend out instead. Any ideas appreciated, not looking for anything expensive if possible.
  10. Yeah the sheet metal screws. Probably extra effort because they were a little oversized but no harm indeed using them. I still cant believe it was 20 dollars. So cheap and it really should have come with the bike its such a better look.
  11. How did you end up using the screws provided? The ones they sent to me were a thicker thread so I ended up reusing the stock ones and I didnt use the spacers either.
  12. I got mine for 20 bucks as well a no brainer and shockingly cheap. Usually everything like this for a bike is ummm I dunno 300 DOLLARS OR SIMILAR!!! Question though. I removed the two clips and replaced with the new ones and longer allen bolts. But the front 2 Phillips screws I just re-used. The ones in the kit were longer/larger thread. Also mine came with spacers which I didn't use. Does anyone know what the spacers are for? The install was so easy I just don't like extra parts when there are no instructions.
  13. I give you props for trying. If I did it myself the seat would end up looking like the wheel of The Flintstones car.
  14. Morning, If anyone has one they are not using please let me know and what you would want for it. I have a 2016. I only need the front if possible. Thanks.
  15. Did you drive the bike 130 miles or so on a full tank? and did it change for you? Mine changed at 113 miles this last time.Nah I did about 100 miles then filled up again. Since others have said theirs doesn't really drop until after that I will check next time I can get out on a nice long ride.
  16. ok cool I will just wait it out thanks.
  17. Hey guys. Today I left my house with a full tank and rode 100 miles and when I got to my stop I realized my gauge was still at full. Thought it was a little strange so on the way home i decided to get gas it took about 2 gallons. I then clocked another 70 miles and the gauge didn't move again. I wouldn't be so bothered but this just started since I removed the tank to sync the throttle bodies. Any ideas what it could be? Thx
  18. $300.00 aint painless man that hurts!!!! lol But still better than points and insurance hike.
  19. Better to get a ticket then be added to the tree of shame but luckily I have had neither there.
  20. Killboy charges some steep prices but aint it worth it? Went there 2 times, my favorite place to ride to from NY. Better than the Dragon is the Cherohala Skyway and BRP for sure. But thats just me. Great pic btw!
  21. What did I do to my FJ09 today? I looked at it covered in my garage......looked at all the snow in my driveway, and then I flipped off mother nature. does that count?
