  1. Last weekend, I removed my chicken stripes on both sides of my tires. I also started to remove the peg feeler by grinding them on the asphalt. It may take longer that expected. but it is fun. Those tires are definitely more confidence inspiring that I tought they would be !
  2. It took a while, but I finally received my Red Rim stripes !!! While I was waiting, I rode my FJ in an hotel corridors constantly repeating : Red Rims! Red Rims! That was scary... So Today, I cleaned the bike and installed them. In the sun, they are orangish, but they look neat anyhow. Not a perfect color match. Hopefully someone will produre reflective burgundy wheel stripes, and ill replace them...
  3. He ! Wow ! I just bought the exact same helmet ! Same color too ! It is replacing a more than 10 years old Arai Quantum II... I like it a lot, it fits me well, and is very confortable. What I don't like about it is the chin clip. It touches my adam's apple and its not very confortable. x_x I have to push the strap forward at sometimes. I liked better my Arai's chin's strap.
  4. LOL I had my rainsuit on, and was completly dry, excepts gloves. It has been a while since I last checked underneath my boots: I think I need new boots... There is no more Rubber ! What kind of boots do you have beberle ?
  5. I've been VERY happy with them in all aspects. Hello Clint & Trench, The stock foot pegs never bothered me until today. Today, I got caugth in a big rainstorm. With Traction control, I felt very safe. However, the stock footpegs are soooo slippery when wet. I could barely keep my feet on them while encoutering bumps... It might be a combinaison of my boot + metal pegs that makes them slippery, I don't know. So this made me wonder if the Ebay Fz6 rubber footpegs are also slippery when wet ? Did you ride in rain with them ? If less slippery, I think I will buy them, because the stock foot pegs are just plain scary, and I MUST use this bike in all weather. Thanks in advance !
  6. Installed Givi v35 hard bags Wow Michel, Superbe travail ! Je connais ce coin, c'est à Alma ! Centrale hydroélectrique de l'Île Maligne Givi cases painted red, That is why you needed the color code ! I have a question about your wheels stripes. Are they the same color or just plain red ? Did not find any stripes on EBay with the same color. Thanks !
  7. I Just received and installed my pair of Kouba Link Mirror Extenders. This is definitely the best mod I have done so far ! Installed in 5 min. Do I really need to put some locktite on threads ? As reported by others, I also did notice vibrations, not necessarely more, but rather at different RPM than stock. They do not produce more noise on my helmet (with my short windscreen). Thanks again for this info !
