New carbon fiber bits from ebay/bluebird engineering. Fits very well, very happy with price, looks and should function well also in providing extra coverage.

Debating doing this over winter also... not a fan of the gold.

I have a feeling it'll be the same for me and many other FJ-09 owner when the rear is due, not the first time I read about folk replacing the Front at the same time. and i'll be going with PR4s also when they are due, hopefully this autumn if mother nature cooperates a little and allows for some autumn riding!

Quick review of the KTM handguards. They look better in person than in pictures in my opinion, they fit perfect and provide good coverage. I'm sure they will protect much better from the rain than the stockers while also leaving tons of room for any windscreen option or modifications down the line. It was insanely hot over the week-end up here and they protected very well from the wind... enough that I ended up breaking one of my rule and rode barehanded for the first time in YEARS. There is definitely an air pocket behind them, as soon as you move your hand out of it you feel the wind right away. With the cold weather coming up, I'm sure I will appreciate them much more! A good buy for under 100$ for sure(even cheaper in the US).

...it is large, but actually looks way better than in photos. Offers good protection too, although if you're much taller than I am (5'9")... might need something taller (Madstad?). I'm 6'4"... Having ridden sportbikes previously I am happy with the stock one so far, I just need more protection from the cold mornings until... well... it goes into storage in +-2 months. If I wanted more protection I would have picked up a FJR1300 or a ST1300

...here? I rock the Kappa... B-| Weird, that did not come up when I searched! As for the Kappa, i'm sure it works and i'm usually function over fashion but damn... it looks huge. Mind you, so do I on the bike

Any Canadian distributors doe the National Cycle N20317? It's the only "bigger" windscreen that does not look like a barn door(Givi/Kappa)... and with the colder weather, the stock one is not cutting it anymore! Or if someone wants to sell theirs since they have gone with something else, fell free to offer
