  1. I was wondering if we should get the Metzeler Roadtec 01 HWM (Heavy Weight Motorcycles) or the standard. Anybody knows?
  2. I'll be there around the 20th of May.
  3. Do you think this GPS bracket would fit on 2015? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Stand-Holder-Mobile-Phone-GPS-Plate-Bracket-For-Yamaha-MT-09-Tracer-FJ-09-16-17/153319147116
  4. I don't understand where the foam is exactly? I've never removed the tank, yet. Someone has a picture?
  5. It's funny that you say that because same thing is hapening to me: it hurts real bad after 2 hours. Sometimes I have to open it (it's modular) in order to release the pressure. Did you get the Shoei on sale? Price is not even close...
  6. I am looking for comfort pegs for my passenger that I can close when I am running alone. What would you recommand?
  7. HI, I also used them and had a small oil leak. The screws and spacers does not work well for our bikes so I had to ask and find others. Finally, I removed the sliders the next year and installed givi engine guard which are much better. I would recommand you to do so. Watch what happens when people go down with that sliders and you will decide after that
  8. Brackets: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/182011878799 Footpegs: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/372198863429 Turns out that it was only about $30 total now that I look at it again. For what it's worth both items feel very solid and high quality. I just needed to get some slightly shorter (M8x25) bolts and they worked out beautifully. I wil wait until your test in order to know if the footpegs move or if they stay at the right place ^^
  9. I am also considering the Tenere front signals, post up your impressions of them after you get them installed. Why not going with the YME-FLB2F-00 instead?
  10. I did it in blue following your advice and I like it very much! The Shad cases are also ready but did not mount them today. I already did the rim with reflective tape and it match pretty well.
  11. A 2 amp fuse on a 12V system: 12 V x 2 A = 24 Watts. That's the limitation on whatever you connect to it. A USB port runs at 5 V x 2.4 A = 12.0 W < 24 W. You are good to go. That's exactly the knowledge I am lacking. Thank you for the explanation!
  12. Ok so I understand that I have to replace the fuse. After that, could I plug a 2.4a usb adapter like the one in my car: https://www.aukey.com/products/4-8a-dual-port-car-charger-cc-s1 ? Or should I buy a new one that takes less?
  13. Yesterday, I plugged a 'certified 12V Air Compressor' to the 12v socket on my FJ-09 2015 in order to inflate the tires but it didn't work. The I tried an usb adaptor on the socket and checked with my phone: nothing. I am now wondering if I burnt the fuse with the air compressor or if the 12v socket was not working from the begining as it is a 2nd hand bike? Could someone tell how to troubleshoot, please? I know nothing about electricity and fuses yet. The bike was powered ON when I tried all of this.
  14. Well, that is clean and nice! Good job. I will definitely be looking for a blue one.
  15. I'm curi[span][/span]ous about your side cases. Could we have a better look at them? The orange line is homemade, isn't it?
  16. What if you change the part every 2 years? It is not that expensive after all.
