  1. First check for me @43,000km (about 26k miles). All inlets were in spec but on the tight side of the range. Re-shimmed with -0.05mm shims to loosen them up. All exhausts were out. #2 valves were the worst at 0.20/0.22mm. #1 was 0.21/0.25mm. #3 was 0.26/0.26mm (technically in but almost guaranteed to tighten over time).
  2. I picked up a bunch at a local autoparts but they're pretty common and cheap. Amazon, Ebay.....yep. Just google "Dowty Washer".
  3. I've a 2015 that I picked up (used) a few months ago and just did my first oil change on. It seemed the ideal time to do the mod to the pan. I used a magnetic, hex head plug with a Dorman washer, sold for the R1, but it fit fine. Torqued to 20 lbft with a little thread sealant. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F311557082474
