@wordsmith - Not sure if you are aware but you can't use those on the stock rubber valves. You will need to replace them for metal ones. At speed the rubber valves will vibrate and will eventually tear (because of the higher centre of gravity).

If you have stock tubes then Autosol and a rag. The autosol will go black as you scrub. this is normal. Keep scrubbing and then wipe it off with a clean rag

The temperatures you mention are normal. My GT is constantly between 95-105 celsius in summer when ambient temperature is around 30 degrees. In winter when ambient temperature is 10 degrees celsius, the bike will be at the 80 degree celsius mark

Mine wouldn't face the ground. The mirror stem would literally close sot that the mirror would end up touching my shoulder (the height of the mirror remained constant). Like yours, anything above 80 kph would end up with the mirror tucked in. Since doing the steps above i haven't had this issue

I have the newer model and was thinking of doing similar. I don't think cutting the exposed part of the baffle will do anything but i was thinking about shortening 1 or 2 of the baffles in the exhaust so that they no longer connect at the back of the exhaust (to improve airflow)

I live in Malta so the Mediterranean sun is also rather relentless. Just installed the Speedo Angels anti-glare dash protector and it makes a world of difference in making the dash more readable

Not near my bike now so can't check but a quick check on youtube should answer your question as there are plenty of walkaround vids showing the Tracer GT dash start up

My trouble was with the left mirror so my instruction was for the left mirror. Previously any speed over 80kph would cause it to close in on me

I seem to have solved the issue. Tighten the mirror stem as much as possible, turn the steering full lock to the left (to facilitate the nextstep), and then rotate the mirror 360 a few times until it tightens (counter clockwise)

Am in B'kara myself. Think I saw you in st. Julian's near neptunes on Sunday morning (your plate starts DMC right?). Mine starts with FCO in case you see me on the road. I see you're rocking a beak too Love the look of the panniers! I had gone for the OEM ones but at almost double the price and much less storage I don't think it was a wise investment on my part

Apart from weight distribution, etc. that bicycle could easily cause you fatal injuries in a crash both if someone hits you from behind and throws the bike into you, as well as in a low side (from the pedals, forks, gear cogs, etc). I would personally be much more comfortable with the one posted by mangosmoothie (although that introduces corner clearance concerns)

@Tracerracer - Pic was mid corner. I had already stiffened the suspension from standard (using settings available) so it is also not on stock soft settings

Thanks @koth442 @Tracerracer - Definitely wasn't offended, but wouldn't say i appreciated it either. Point of my reply was just to show the lean angle is definitely a factor too. You are right that I am not lightweight at 87kg but definitely not exactly jumbo jet size either. The problem of the centre stand is quite common and some people have either cut the rubber stopper on the centre stand support down, or, removed the centre stand completely. Thanks for the tip that you believe my front end may be collapsing and so need adjustment. This is something I will look into as i would be more than happy to gain extra clearance!

Lol. To be honest I was suspicious of the fact that the spacer narrows near the fork. I was worried that part was supposed to slide into the wheel. Unfortunately I haven't managed to find an adapter that fits the axle bolt so so far have been unable to remove it to check

Would some kind soul with a GT be kind enough to take a pic of the placement of the spacers on the front wheel. I changed my front tyre and have a nagging suspicion the tyre shop may have installed them incorrectly. Thanks in advance.
