  9. Wondering if this was ever resolved? Had something very similar happen to me yesterday. 2015 FJ-09. about 22000km. I keep up with the maintenance meticulously. Canā€™t afford not to! Coolant changed every 2nd year, this past winter being the last change. On my annual week long trip with the boys this past week. Several long days of 5-600 km. Bike was flawless, as it always has been. Yesterday we said our farewells and I headed home, about a 700km jaunt. No issueā€™s (except for rain that pounded me for 5 hrs, but thatā€™s another taleā€¦.) Decided to make one final fuel stop in the USA before coming home. Stopped at the pump and heard a gurgling sound and saw coolant flowing from the overfill. (Not tonnes, a few oz I would guess) I had never seen or heard this before. Checked the reservoir and the level was roughly half way between full and low. What the heck? Bike was not overheating and running about 70C all day. Ran it home, about an hour, and was AOK and did not repeat once I arrived home. Left the reservoir as is, half way between full and low. Checked the rad. It was a little low. Filled, ran until the fan came on, and the symptom happened again. Some coolant from overflow and gurgling in the reservoir when ignition turned off. What the heck? Let it cool and it was a little low in the rad again. Filled and ran and then was fine, no symptoms. Went over the bike as well as I can without dismantling everything. No leaks found. Hoses and rad seem like everything is flowing as it should. Guess I am just confused, which doesnā€™t take a lot, so curious if the OPā€™s gremlins has ever been found. Will probably order a new cap to start. Open to any and all feedback. Thanks!
  10. 2015 FJ-09 Did a throttle body sync and new K&N filter today. First time tackling the project. Easy peasy. And, as a bonus, no spare parts! šŸ˜Ž
  11. Installed a JK3D seat slope mod kit on my 2015. A vast improvement!
  12. London here. Would be down for a meet up if it were to happen.
  13. Would this still happen to be available?
  14. Fits my 2015. Excellent shape, all hardware and fixinā€™s included. Box said large but think itā€™s the med. Hows $150?

  16. London. Red FJ-09 heading north on Wharncliffe at Basline. 4:30ish.....
  17. Yeah, a bit pricey, but had a gift card that took care of a little better than half!
  18. Rear k-tech razor r lite installed. Adjusted as well as an amateur can. Big difference!
  19. Yup, I plan on getting the front sorted out, but will have to tackle it later. Good point. Rider sag of 45mm that is. I just saw a god sale price on the. k-tech over the winter and picked one up. Guess I was just thinking a balanced rider sag makes more sense than having one end dialed in and the other off. But I am certainly no Einstein. As stated above, front will come, but in a bit.
  20. Sooooo, letā€™s say thereā€™s this guy who is packing around 225lbs everywhere he goes. This fictional character has realized the stock suspension is weak and needs to do some upgrades. He has allegedly set up the front forks and all he can get out of them is about 45 mm of sag. If he hypothetically buys a proper upgrade for the rear shock that he has the ability to obtain the correct sag of about 30 mm with, should he? Or should he just match the 45 mm he can get out of the front for now until the forks get addressed, most likely on the off season? Or should heā€™s set the rear up properly and maybe mess with the pitch of the bike?? Remember, all hypothetical tale.... LOL šŸ˜‰šŸ§ TIA!
  21. So you just spay down all metal components? Does it need to be wiped off?
  22. I first covered the area I was planning on cutting with masking tape on both sides. I layed out the cut onto the tape. Followed the original shape 2ā€ down. I layed out a nice corner radius on both edges. I used a small rotary cutting wheel to make the cut. Made a few passes so the plastic wouldnā€™t get too hot. Took a fine file to roughly smooth the cut line then finished smoothing out the edge with som fine sandpaper. 400 grit I think. The rotary cutting tool is the key. I found if you use even a fine hacksaw blade, the material will crack. I just had a small cutter in my drill and it worked out quite well.
  23. I cut an additional 2ā€ off of my Puig sport screen and found a vast improvement...
