Not bothered about adaptive cruise, just want cc to work below 4th gear and down to 20 mph, I use it to stick to 30 and 40 mph speed limits and now we have a few 20mph speed limits in the UK and keeping to them is bloody difficult on the throttle alone, one twitch of the throttle and you are way over! My car doesn`t have cc but speed limiter which works in any gear at any speed.

I do wonder why service interval are shorter in the US for the same bike we get in the UK, my service intervals are 6,000 miles and plugs at 12,000, no way would I replace plugs at 8,000 miles!

3 years ago I had a S10, lovely bike to ride, too bloody heavy to push around! Tracer GT lighter and faster and that sound😁 I think a lot of 60 plus guys think big bikes are too much to physically handle and modern smaller bikes have more than enough power.

ACF 50 goes a lot further than you would think, I keep a small paint brush to spread it around, it tends to creep into books and crannies and is good for protecting electrics. In the UK we have all year biker who have agents who will clean your bike and mist with ACF, 1st thing I got done to my bike when new, never fails to amaze me how it stays on the front of a bike engine which has to be the worst environment, just a light spray and spread with brush occasionally 😀

"General battery charger" do they mean normal car battery charger? Optimate are specifically designed to maintain bike batteries, hook mine up if it's been standing for a while no problem.

Dealer relpaced my switch today, he said about an hour when I booked in, 45mins after I arrived I left, I said that was quick! The handle wont sit flush when on the bike with that tab to make sure you lock to bike

To remove case put in key and turn, lift handle cases are unlocked from bike, to open case pull up seperate lever, lid won't open till you do that. If you lock case with handle up the lid is locked, a metal bar with red tab shows the lid is locked but you can't lock to bag to the bike

I have made my own basically thin piece of plastic that uses 2 screws inside original hand guards, crucially they extend above and BELOW original guard as I find windblast freezes my thumbs! Not pretty but I only use in the winter.

I can fit an old large Oxford magnetic tank bag no problem, and a small tank bag with my bridge camera in easily. You can adjust the position of the magnets in the Oxford and it's very secure.
