  1. Don’t know why I didn’t thought about that earlier. Sometime solution is right there and you just don’t see it. I installed and it’s fix the problem.👍🏼
  2. Almost a year back I purchased SW-MOTECH EVO City QUICK-LOCK Tank Bag & SW-MOTECH Type 110 EVO Tank Bag QUICK-LOCK Bottom Tank Ring as suggested by Twisted Throttle website from my 2019 Tracer 900 GT. Issue is tank bag sits too low and there is no way I can lock the bag to the tank ring. This is how my QUICK lock works - I open the bag, move things around or remove it temporary then press hard on all four corners from inside until I hear "click"- Fill the bag again and ready to roll. I tried to raised the ring by adding spacer between ring and gas tank which work fine for tank bag but I couldn't able to open gas cap. I learned it hard way 😣 Today I was searching on SW-MOTECH website and found they offer different part number for tank ring TRT.00.640.30800.B. Based on Twisted Throttle this is what I purchased TRT.00.640.11001.B. On Twisted Throttle site 308 is isted for FJ09 15-17: Can anybody comment who have similar setup/bike, what you are using?
  3. I start riding when I was 12, I used to ride my dad’s motorcycles. I learnt riding on Suzuki A100. I don’t have pictures, below are taking from internet. 1978 Suzuki A100 1984 Suzuki GP100 Kawasaki GTO was my first purchased in 1992. 1989 Kawasaki GTO 125 In 1999, I traded my GTO with used Honda CG. 1997 Honda CG 125 I sold Honda CG in early 2001. There was a huge riding gap (14 yrs) due to many reasons. But as motorcycle was in my blood I ended up purchasing in 2015. All following pictures are from my camera. 2007 Suzuki Boulevard M50 After a year in 2016 I sold M50 and purchased used FZ1. Soon enough I become a big fan of FZ1 power delivery and agility and decided to keep that bike until I purchased my first brand new 2019 Tracer 900 GT in the fall of 2018 and forced to sold my favorite FZ1. I still missed that bike! 2009 Yamaha FZ1 I started track riding in 2017 and kept few bikes for track purposes. Couple of month back I sold my CBR600RR and admitted that sports is not affordable anymore. 2006 Kawasaki ZX6R 2007 CBR600RR 2009 Yamaha R6 2008 CBR600RR 2019 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT
  4. I was feeling the same as posted by OP. Wasn’t able to find a way to make sure front ABS is working until one day coming hot into a corner and grab hard on front brakes before entering and yeah front ABS kicks in. Honestly the ABS vibration feeling was too weird for me. This is my first bike with ABS 😊
  5. I cut the connector off the stock turn signals and wire them with new led turn signals or you can buy new. OEM Turn Signal Connectors and Y-Splitters – Tracer 900 GT – Custom LED These OEM turn signal and Y-Splitter...
  6. I sent it to David at vcyclenut. Link below to the list of changes for ECU flash. Now A mode bring big smile 😃 Fz09 flash information FLASHED BY VCYCLENUT
  7. Hey @Seric I got 2019 GT model and so far did 25000 KM. My longest single trip was 8500KM. Based on touring experience few things I found that needs immediately attention before I took her on long trips. Here are the modes I did that works for me. MRA Touring Windscreen + Wind deflector FJR foot pegs Yamaha comfort seat Spring change (front & rear) R&G front fender extender (optional) RAM Mounts (optional) Hope that helps!
  8. I got the same one of ebay. They are holding up great after 20k KM. Just FYI I weight 220lb. Top rubber helps on long rides 👍🏼
  9. Echo what you just said. I flashed and now fan are on at 95c. Add little bit water wetter in radiator, it helps to reduce temp.
  10. And this is my 3 weeks load with full camping gear (tent, tarp, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, chair, tools, compressor, clothes, etc) Wondering how much you are planning to carry Those cases looks enormous
  11. Doing bit of off roading and forget to turn off TCS and Yamaha scared the hell out of me with solid TCS amber and check engine light until I turn the ignition off/on. 😄
  12. So here is the solution for my issues posted by fellow rider on Zumo forum: First pairing cell phone with the XT, and getting Drive working correctly. Then pair cell phone as phone #1 to the Bold via BT. Then pair the GPS to the Bold as phone #2 via BT. Followed above sequence and it fixed both issues. BTW I haven’t heard back from Cardo yet 😧 Thanks for all who chime in to assist. ☺️
  13. I recently replaced air filter at 24K KM with Sprint and paid close to $100 Canadian dollars. This filter does not require recharge kit, simply blow with compress air and its good to go. I got new spark plugs that I wanted to replace, will also remove AIS and install block off plates, planning to sync throttle bodies... but time is money! I got Vcycle ECU flash so expecting no error light after AIS remove.
  14. In the past AT upgraded my couple race & street bikes, so I thought I would give them a quick call. Today I spoke with John at Accelerated Technologies and got rough estimation. He tried his best to explain me and I will post as much as I remembered 😊 Remember all prices are in CAD. Shock (Hyperpro or Ohlins) - $800 (manual preload adjuster, rebound only) or upgrade to $1200 (manual preload, piggy reservoir, compression & rebound) add $300 extra for hydraulic preload adjuster with any shock. For forks two options: replace internal with Ohlins or K-Tech cartridges $1500-$1600 or change spring & gold valving this will bring down the cost to $800 - $1000 range. Labor & taxes are extra. This is estimation and price would go up little bit, aftermarket suspension isn't cheap. I am 210lb and max out on preload without additional luggage/weight or side cases. Here is my suspension setup: Front: Rebound 4 clicks out, Compression 14 clicks out, preload - max. Bike in air = 150mm, Bike on ground = 118mm, Rider on bike = 104mm (150-104=46mm SAG). Rear: Rebound 5 clicks out, preload - max. Bike in air = 574mm, Bike on ground = 566mm, Rider on bike = 532mm (574-532=42mm SAG).
  15. Did same with mine, now can't find it 😁
  16. @SKYFLIX do you have issue #2 with this setup?
  17. I know my phone is on BT ver 5.0, PTB is 4.1. Can’t seems to find XT BT version.
  18. That's what I first thought, so I make sure all the devices are on the latest released firmware. I don't think anybody wants group member to listen my end of the phone conversation. I do not think its a feature, its really annoying to do multi tasking and to tell entire group to stop talking as I am on the phone with my wife 😄 . Unless someone guide me how to turn it off. 🥴
  19. Recently I purchased Garmin Zumo XT and I paired it with my iPhone as well as Cardo as a GPS. Here is my setup: iPhone connect with PTB (Cardo Packtalk Bold) as phone 1 Garmin Zumo XT connect with PTB as GPS Garmin Zumo XT connect with iPhone as Bluetooth Issue #1: As soon as Garmin connects with PTB my phone lost Bluetooth connection with PTB, is this normal? I am still able to receive phone calls - no issues, but I can't open the Cardo app on my phone to do setting adjustments. I checked with my friend who also has a PTB, Garmin Zumo 595 and Samsung Android phone and he is experiencing the same. Issue #2: As I mostly ride with group we connect with each other via DMC - Mesh. I have had issues since I paired Garmin Zumo XT that when I answered the phone call I was still able to communicate with my buddies via DMC and also able to hear other parties on the other side of the phone, whereas previously DMC disconnected me and I privately talked over the phone. DMC members nor does phone caller hear each other, unless I shared the call with DMC members. Anyone else experiencing similar issue? I just opened a ticket with Cardo support and will wait for their feedback.
  20. My OEM chain is exactly doing the same, noticed kinks and shedding O rings. Although I have been taken care of my bike chain. My GT-19' ODM reads 24789KM (15500 miles) I got mine in the fall of '18. I think its due to tight chain. From factory Yamaha chain slack are way too tight. With your new chain set it for min 40mm slack and you shouldn't worry about chain for atleast next 25k miles.
  21. Yamaha comfort seat works for me. One of my friend who also own GT did Luimoto gel seat mod, which he said is comfortable for him. He also owns Yamaha comfort seat. Now as he has two options he preferred moded OEM seat over Yamaha comfort seat. Before with OEM seat he used to wear Moto Skiveez Boxers that help him riding long days. We usually go out on multi-day trip and seat comfort is essential for long rides.
  22. OEM tires actually did pretty job for me. Lasted 14,000KM (8700 miles). They only last that long as I was on Pacific Coastal Highway trip started from Vancouver to Los Angeles and back to Toronto. Trick was 2900miles on left edge, 2900miles on right edge and rest riding in between 😂. I thought changing tires in States was cheaper so I start looking near Carolina state but ended up riding to Toronto and replaced with Michelin PR5 from local shop near home.
  23. I noticed slow speed wobble due to top case, removed the top case and bike didn't wobble. Suggest to remove rear high weight and see if its still there.
  24. R&G Racing | Fender Extenders for Yamaha - MT-09 Tracer (FJ-09) GIVI PR2139 Stainless Steel Radiator Guard For Yamaha Tracer 900 / GT - TwistedThrottle.ca GIVI stainless steel radiator guard protects vulnerable internal components... Using above on my bike
