  1. Yes, get Yamaha led blinker plus that’s the one which will work as drl as well.
  2. Just wanted to say thank you for the guys in this thread for coming up with Idea for handlebar risers. I have a bad habit of pushing down on the left hand handlebars during left hand turns rather than slightly pushing it forward for counter steering. I tried to un-learn This Habit, but I guess difficult to teach you tricks to old dogs. I realized when I ride bikes with Higher handlebars I am much smoother and faster. These risers are just perfect size for my comfort level, never imagined 15 mm difference was all it took, put the handlebars just at the right level and the last ride was excellent ripping through twisty left and right 😁 thx again
  3. First long ride yesterday of close to 500 miles. Absolutely love the bike(obviously) All this time was doing only 200ish mile short twisty trips. Never got to appreciate the long distance mettle of bike. 500 miles of twisty / comfortable/ faaaast/ keeping fz10s and Tuonos entertained / and coming home and still have energy to wash and wax @fjrpittsburgh where u riding through ohio with two other feejer brothers?
  4. awesome, ty guys. I hope its straight bolt on with screws they provided since i am very bad with complex mechanical stuff
  5. U mean these? Tusk Handlebar Risers | Parts & Accessories | Rocky Mountain ATV/MC WWW.ROCKYMOUNTAINATVMC.COM The Tusk Handlebar Riser Kit makes it easy to increase the handlebar height on your motorcycle or ATV. Tusk handlebar risers... My confusion was what size as tracer handlebar in Middle looks thick. 11/8 size? Or keep 7/8 size?
  6. Great help, can you guys post part number or online link to find the exact item?
  7. ton of patience and lot of elbow grease. And after a week it slowly starting to come off on one particular tricky curvy section. Rest is holding up. led flasher need either a resistor or change the led flasher relay to have the correct "blink rate" , i think thats what it called. this is on the fz09
  8. Which brand you went with? Any model number link?
  9. Thank you Randy, will order them and see if I can make it work.
  10. Woooot, small world. I saw your review on amazon and was trying to see if any way to contact you to get more details haha when you say grind small amount of perch, where is that? And will me being a mediocre mechanic able to pull it off?
  11. Saw the same brand installed in YouTube videos on fz9 etc looked like straight fit. I wonder why the tracer having an issue
  12. Just wondering if any body Installed set of eBay/ amazon levers for tracer. I tried getting a pair description said fits fj09. It was some fxcnc brand. Actually well made for the price. But didn’t fit. I should say it fit well with the perch and all, just the neutral switch on the gt pushed the lever way out over stretching the clutch cable. If any one have a set installed which was direct plug and plug and plz share the link. I never used them shorty levers before and want to try cheaper pair before spending big coins for super brands.
  13. I tried installing cheap eBay levers. The process was pretty easy once hand guard is off. But unfortunately the levers did not match I went back to stock
  14. Hi, Did you find any way to install adjustable levers
  15. just wondering if any one went with bar end mirrors on the tracer. quick search on forums popped up some random post on people trying it on older models. Just wondering if any one went with the bar end on newer models and got some pics to share. Alsp before i order the mirrors from ebay any thing i need to keep en ey on regarding the thread pattern etc. I wish i knew a model that was direct bolt on.
  16. How many miles do people usually feel comfortable going with full synthetic oil change? Asking for tracer GT if that makes any difference which I guess it doesn’t at all
  17. I haven’t done the full delete yet, I just took off the main clunk in the back to see how it looks, just zip tied my plate on it for now lol
  18. The gloss just make it appear like that on the pic, it’s different matte color finish. honestly it’s not a perfect fitment. Gaps in between etc if your stickler for that you won’t like it. Just for a difference you can try it. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F123293908966
  19. reserved for more addition ask away if any doubts regarding any mods /ike etc/ will try to answer as much as i can.
  20. Hey i though it was time i give something back for all the helpful advice i been getting from the forums so far. So i thought i will list up stuff i have done to the bike and prolly do small write ups on pros and cons and what to watch out, if its worth it etc as time goes by. The steed is coming along nicely for the 2019 trips the more warm days with rain in it means the time you spend in garage goes up. Dayum, I almost feel like a bike show kind of guy. No miles all styles First thing gone, giant pumpkin blinkers : Yamaha led blinker / tried eBay one first of course. Not bright at all to be unsafe lvl Short MRA screen : clean air > buffet or barn door evotech rad guard functional eBay CNc mirror : again smaller foot print size and reduced wind buffeting in the cockpit Chinese fake Powerbronze adv beak. Not fitted for GT, with some minor tweaking and adjusting it fit. Finally most expensive crap for the bike I spend, yoshimura full system. Guilt of wasting money melted away after a short rip around the local area. Now bike sounds like a tRRrRipple since weather is no where improving I thing I will continue to tweak and mod. So far haven’t touched any vital and important stuff of bike. Gonna keep all those oem intact like the suspension and stuff which is working wonderful for my puny weight. Going to rebadge that awful “goo” logo then put on crash protection and couple of aux lights and I am done gonna call him Garuda after a character from Indian mythology hehe (angry bird was more appropriate but don’t have a personalized name to it 😂)
  21. shit :( i have to find mine now. prolly lost it some where when i was moving the sensor away from the exhaust
  22. @3sum @chitown do you guys remember by any chance if there was a washer or gasket something for the o2 sensor when going into the y series exhaust? I did t have any or prolly lost/forgot it. When running bike it feels like minute leak around here.
  23. Welcome another ohio guy here. Northeast Ohio also new tracer GT and literally waiting day by day for the weather to get better.
  24. @3sum @chitown Thx guys, I finally got it in. At one point I was like I am just gonna freaking take all this shit off and sell it and go back to stock lol this was mainly because of my hatred for exhaust hangers in general. then I decided to take the peg bolts off, used a rope to move the whole peg brake assembly aside so I don’t have to mess with any brake line and stuff. This gave a lot of working space and visibility. Then it went in much easier. The clearence between exhaust and rear swing arm is still very minimal. I hope it is okay for regular road use.
  25. @3sum need some advise guys, I been having difficulty with the exhaust hanger part, there is barely any room to squeeze in a wrench in there. With minimal space to work with I couldn’t pass the bolt and tighten but tonight. Going to tackle it another day. The exhaust is almost touching most of the surrounding stuff like frame rear foot heel guards etc Am I doing something wrong here?
