  1. Apologies, these were off my 2015 FJ09.
  2. I have a set of seats (pilot and pinion) in like new condition for sale. Located in Nevada. $50 (plus shipping to lower 48 only)
  3. Nice! Can you post a pic of how you mounted that?
  4. Does anyone have a video of an excessively noisy cam chain on this bike that would warrant a cct replacement?
  5. Very nice I like the way that looks!
  6. I'm OCD about my tire pressure and want a TPMS that is both accurate and reliable. I was looking at this system (TireGard 13-315A Motorcycle Tire Pressure Monitoring System https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0068FYAHK/?tag=soubayrid-20 ) but I'm open to experienced input on other options. Anyone else using a monitoring system they like?
  7. Worked our way along the coast down to Cambria for lunch... After lunch we made our way up Santa Rosa Creek Rd.... We turned up Vineyard dr and into wine country where it was a 'chose your own adventure' up through chimney rock and back out to Paso Robles. Quick gas stop and off to Morrow Bay to end the day...
  8. Finally got out this last weekend for my first real ride on this bike since I picked it up. Had a group ride of about 40 riders starting in Monterey, CA. We worked our way down Hwy 1 (aka. PCH) through Big Sir on Friday morning and the conditions were absolutely perfect! Mid 60s, sunny, and no traffic... Stopped at Ragged Point for a short coffee and pic break...
  9. Put this cheap Chinese rad guard on, not bad and the price was right. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07JFNHPTB
  10. Why go either of those routes when where's some sweet riding down 25, 198, and 33 over the mountains.
  11. Though I'm the 2nd owner of my 2015 and Ive only put on 600 mi during the month Ive owned it, bike just hit 30,000 mi
  12. Found some black CNC machined levers with gold accents to match my forks. Simple but subtle bling.
  13. @texscottyd Did you ever determine what spring you had on that shock?
  14. I can attest to the horrid smells of Harris ranch, especially in 115F summer heat and no wind. It's like traveling through the apocalypse.
  15. Gave the bike a quick wash today but headers just aren't coming clean so I had to pull out 'my lil friend' to get the job done. I've been using Bar Keepers on my KTM headers since we ride a lot of adobe clay which is by far the hardest to remove after its baked on. Made quick work of these headers, heres a before/after...
  16. I'll wave as you go by the bay area! Also, my folks live on Hwy 2 in Wrightwood. I love me some highway 2 in the summer and high speed desert riding in the winter down there. Have fun and be safe!
  17. Interesting stuff. I like the fact that it uses tree resins and bees wax instead of lanolin or animal fats that leave leather greasy and just migrate back to the surface where their of no use. I've been using Lexol for many years to condition my (and my kid's) baseball gloves, track leathers, etc. because it doesn't 'load up' the leather making it feel heavy or greasy, plus it doesn't migrate. Wonder if this stuff accomplishs the same, will have to try it out.
  18. Where did you source the handguard lights? Link?
  19. Thanks to everyone's contributions here I was able to swap out the updated clutch cable (even though current cable is still in good shape) and install some Helibar bar risers. After installing the Corbin seat last week I really needed those bar risers and now all is well. I also took some clear 3M 8 mil protective tape on the rearset guards and on rear passenger footpeg brackets. Pretty much covered all areas that my boots rub so the paint doesn't wear away. Next up and on order, radiator guard.
  20. I ended up going a different direction. With some scheduled rides coming up in a couple weeks I'm short on time getting gear on hand. That and the fact that there just isn't many used 1pc roadcrafter suits popping up (as least ones that won't make me look like Santa or banana-man). I'll still be looking into getting a new roadcrafter either later this season or maybe winter but in the meantime I want to try and get geared up on a budget. I've looked at Klim gear but would be spending just as much as a roadcrafter so I dug further and found comparable gear but at a fraction of the cost in Scorpion's line. Don't get me wrong, I love Klim gear and use it exclusively for enduro/dirt gear but I'm on a budget for this go around. I ended up with Scorpion Yosemite jacket and pants. After getting them in hand I'm really impressed with how jam packet with features this gear has and the quality of materials is very comparable to aerostich's darien gear. Stoked that they use SAS tech armor which I prefer over the D3O and have bar tacking on the seams so they don't blow open on impact. This gear is considered 4 season gear and comes with removable liners (jacket has 2 separate removable liners) so I'll be anxious to test out extreme conditions. I'll be doing some initial testing over the next two weeks leading up to a 3 day ride down the coast so after I spend some time with gear I'll do a quick follow up review. For the price I'm pretty confident the quality of this gear can't be beat. I've never considered Scorpion gear but I've gotta hand it to them, they did and exceptional job!
  21. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Racer Gloves. I've had several $200+ track gloves over my life but when I put these on they without a doubt, blew every other glove away! I'm not usually an outspoken advocate for gear but if you haven't seen/worn their gloves you should do yourself a favor and get some. My first pair were their older High Speed model which survived 3 high speed (no pun intended) get offs on the road track and countless lower speed get offs on the supermoto track before I retired them. I've since replaced them with the new model glove and also have the Mickey model which is a short gauntlet glove. Dont pass these up if you're in the market for gloves.
  22. Plexus, the best detailer for helmet and bike!
  23. I'm a huge fan of Racer brand gloves (Mickeys are my current short gauntlet glove)but I'm always open to good gear reviews. Subscribed!

    Loon Lake

Absolutely love loon lake for camping and posting up to ride Rubicon on the ktm. Never ridden up to the lake but definitely a decent enough goat path to have some fun. Dont get bit by the plague carrying chipmunks.
