  1. Curious about the cross compatibility of the Windscreens between the FJ09 and the Tracer. Specifically, are the mounting holes the same size and distance apart?
  2. Although your manual says you can run on E10, your manual probably doesn't specify how long you can store the bike with E10 in it. In my experience any small engine that may sit for a few months or more is better off to have 100% Dinosaur fuel in it.
  3. Sometimes it's less about the bikes performance and more about sustainability. You will notice the the difference when things start to break down. Seals, gaskets blocked ports and lines etc. Anything that the ethanol in the cheap fuel touches.
  4. Coming from a KLX250 I'm guessing you're a new(er) rider so the first thing I'd do is get insurance quotes. Also a KLX250 to a Tracer 900 is a huge jump. Sure you'll likely get bored of a mid cc size but at east you won't be broke or dead. Have a look in the 650cc sport touring bracket.
  5. No it certainly is not ok. I went to to look at a DRZ400 I was planning on purchasing. I did not purchase the bike as it could not find neutral. The guy selling it called me the next day and explained that he had used car oil in it. He told me that he has since changed it to moto grade oil and it was running perfectly now. Needless to say I passed on buying the bike still.
  6. Maybe you would enjoy a Hondamatic. LOL. No pesky clutch at all. The African Twin has an automatic transmission option. It actually looks really neat but I think I enjoy the clutch work and would miss it too much.
  7. Hey I use the Yamaha 50L top case to commute to work. I pack my laptop and lunch into a laptop bag and put the whole thing in the 50L case. When I get to work I leave the case on the bike and just carry in my laptop bag.
