  1. Another vote for the Bagster from me. I got one with the Bultex foam option and I am very pleased with it. With the stock seat it felt like I was sitting on a church pew after 40 minutes or so. The ride back home after a day out at the coast was unpleasant to say the least. 😍
  2. Hi Mingo, when I was selecting my options for the on-line order form a message popped up stating that the seat was currently out of stock but that a delivery was expected in mid January. I have added a couple of weeks or so to that for the seat to reach my address in the UK. They have an e-mail address and a contact phone number on their website. I have exchanged e-mails with Hugo who speaks english. Good customer service so far. CP.
  3. Hi OLD DVB, thanks for posting the link and the follow up review. I have just placed an order with Silverstone, bultex foam and stiching in blue. They are still running the 10% discount offer and the cost including shipping to the UK was £245.00 Delivery expected towards the end of January. Cheers, CP
  4. Hi Unclemicky, Got my new GT back in June this year. Done 2500 miles since then with the panniers fitted including some 70mph trips on the motorways. I have not experienced the weave/wobble at any speed so far. Hope you find a solution soon. CP
  5. Hi Caracole and welcome to the forum. There are lots of friendly and helpful members on here. I have picked up a lot of useful information. One of the first improvement I made was to replace the stock screen on my 900 GT following the recommendations of other members, worked well for me. Best Wishes, CP
  6. Looks like that was a nice ride out to the Coast. We rode past Criccieth on the 19th of Sept heading to Pwllheli where my friend keeps his boat. I am always impressed by the Castle's on that coast, according to Google this Castle was built in the 1200s. Some of the local roads are not much wider now then they were back then 👀 lol. CP
  7. Hello Steve from yet another Steve, this time in North Staffordshire. This is a very friendly and helpful forum, I'm sure you will enjoy being a member. I have gained a lot already from reading the various posts. CP
  8. Hi DK, I picked up my new T9 GT in June and since then have done about 2500 miles. I followed the recommendations in the book which were also pointed out by the dealership. First service done on time and I have yet to find the need to go anywhere near the red line. Perhaps I am not riding it hard enough 😇 CP.
  9. Hi Clegg78, I have done about 2500 miles on my new Tracer and I agree with your observations. I tend not to use the QS for changing up from 1 - 2 but use it frequently for the remaining up-shifts. As others have noted seems to work very nicely at the higher revs. I was another one who thought I would never have a use for the the QS but I have been completely converted. Really adds to the smile factor. 😀 CP
  10. Thanks for posting the link. I ordered a set and they came today, very pleased with the design and quality. Cheers CP
  11. Funnily enough I got my Tracer from CMC at Cannock. I was really impressed with their customer service. I took advantage of some of the additional things they offer when I purchased the bike but decided against getting Tyre insurance. Just a few days later I picked up a nail in the rear tyre and had to buy another one. CMC sorted it out very quickly and I did tell James (Sales Dept) that he could use my story anytime he likes lol 😉
  12. Hello HGP61 and welcome to the forum. I am based in Staffordshire and traded in my BMW 1200RT for a Tracer 900 GT in June. Really loving the power and the nimble handling that makes everything so much fun. All the best, CP
  13. I ordered a Vario Touring Screen from HPS on the 28th of August and I fitted it yesterday. Set the spoiler in a mid position and set off for a short ride where I could reach 70mph. Stopped a couple of times to try different height settings for the screen but left the spoiler set to a mid position. There is a huge improvement compared with the stock screen. Plently of smooth air at helmet level but no turbulent rough air and there is less noise created by the airflow. No doubt I will be able to fine tune the set up by adjusting the spoiler settings in the future. I am 5 ' 10'' and using a 3 year old Shark Evoline Helmet. One step towards making a great bike even more fun!
  14. Hello everyone, I had been riding a BMW 1200RT for several years but it was becoming too big and heavy for my ageing body. Back in June I booked a test ride on a 900 GT and ordered one on the spot. Don't ride it every day but have done about 1700 miles so far with a few all-day rides into Wales. Also really enjoying this forum with all the shared helpful comments and information. Next steps for me will probably be to swop the stock seat and the screen for something better. I would certainly recommend a trial ride on a Tracer 900 GT for anyone who is looking for a lighter bike, value for money and with a huge grin factor! Cheers, CP
