  1. I seem to have the exact same problem. Some times I worry the bloody thing will break off. As @quetech mentiones I think i'll look into something similar. I was thinking along the lines of changing out the rubber mounting with someting more fixed and to heck with the adjustability - being 190cm I run it in the top point anyway. Didn't know about Givis different mounting - maybe that could be an option too.
  2. Manual including spacer I found this online. Guess I'll have to order it separately.
  3. Link to SW Motech Even SW Motech doesn't show the spacer in their manual.
  4. Mine are the pro. I've been looking into it and apparently they changed the kit at some point to include a spacer for the bottom fixing for the pro. Mine just doesn't have it. Neither in manual. Bummer.
  5. Hi I'm having a problem with the SW motech adapter kit for the Givi Dolomiti Sidecases. It seems that some sort of spacer or adapter is missing in the kit. As the pictures indicate there is a plastic holder on the bottom of the cases which prevents the guide bolt from sliding into place. Please - any help you can provide is much appreciated. Have used givi and sw motech together several times before. Never encountered a problem like this though? One of the pictures show a makeshift solution using 3 smaller spacers and a longer bolt. It sorta works but feels just a millimeter off in size. Pic of entire case and rack aligned Guide bolt too short Makeshift guide bolt
  6. Has nobody tried this option? https://bike-netshoppen.dk/product/puig-touring-vindskaerm-med-forlaenger-tracer-900-gt-29550/ I've used a Givi Airflow windscreen on my last two bikes, but unfortunately Givi doesn't make one for the Tracer. I though this would make a similar airflow and keep the wind buffeting to a minimum? Jakob
  7. Hi Name is Jakob, I'm 41 years old and I've ridden motorbikes daily (commuting and travel) since 2005. Technically I'm not part of the Tracer family yet. I'm hoping to pick up my Tracer 900 tomorrow. I'm trading in my BMW R1200GS Adventure (2010) for a brand new stock Tracer 900 (not GT). My first bike was a Honda VT750 ACE. After a couple cruiser years i turned practical and bought a Honda CBF 600 SA primarily for commuting. I rode 50.000km on that bike over 7 years. Sold it and was without a bike for a couple of years so in 2017 I realized what a big mistake that was and bought a Kawasaki Versys 1000 (2014 model) and rode that for a year and half. Last summer I traded it in for my dream bike BMW R1200GS Adventure. I've ridden 20.000km this last year and I came to the conclusion that I don't make enough money to keep that bike running. So I am trading the Beemer in for the Tracer "hopefully" tomorrow. Can't wait to finish up that break-in period. These last few years I've been touring a lot in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Austria and northern Italy - and I still commute every day. Jakob
