I used it a few times, when it was in the 60’s. Up about 10,000 feet and raining. I also have a Gerbing heated jacket liner which is probably my #1 favorite article of riding gear. I don’t think the heated seat is a must have but heated or not, I do advocate for the Yamaha Comfort seat.

Added some road 6 tires, Yamaha heated comfort seat, and Yamaha tank pads recently. Then rode 1500 miles. All additions were super!

I use REAX Atlas, my husband uses the REAX Trident. Ordered a comfort heated Yamaha rider seat, waiting for it to ship. Hoping it does not look too ugly with stock passenger seat but I’ll see first and then buy the passenger if I can’t stand the look. Hardened up the suspension, mine was very soft I found after watching some You Tube. Still playing with it some….it feels like my tires are over inflated but I know that’s not the case. Been riding with it soft for so long I know it will take some getting used to.

If it helps you can use the helmet lock the bike comes with. The little cable comes in tool bag. I also really like my Saddleman tail bag. I hope you have an epic trip!

I have tried many. Pinlock and Eargasm are ok. I recently took the plunge and got custom made ones from Big Ear. They were under $100 I think and work well and are the most comfortable for long rides. All that I’ve tried do make it more difficult to hear my husband talk thru our cardo’s. I’m sure we will some day go with the electronic ones from Big Ear so we can hear each other talk well thru the Cardo.

I got mine fixed last week. Actually late last summer my 2019 Tracer cruise control was flaky and it was due to my rear break light staying on. It seemed to happen more at higher speeds. I asked the dealership to check it when they were doing some maintenance but they found no issue. So, I am was happy to see this recall and now my bike is all fixed!

Hi, I got a new Two Brothers exhaust, can’t wait to test it out on the road! It is certainly deeper sounding and louder. I have the baffle in, and it is plenty loud. My husband installed it with pretty much no issues. It was a little challenging to figure out how to install the bracket to mount the muffler. He also Installed a new Akropovic muffler for his R1250 GS Adventure. Common warmer weather!

Added some lights to the forks so they move when the handle bars move. I have not tested them on the road yet. I am quite happy with them so far though!

I am in UT....if I was closer I’d love to help more. I’m about 5’8 and put my seat height to low and am almost flat footed. Not sure what my inseam is but it’s average. I can still touch the ground ok with the taller seat height, I need to see how I like riding w the higher setting for kicks and grins some day. I bet you’d be fine. And nope I don’t ride in heels!

Can anyone speak to this? Do such side stand extenders help the bike feel more stable when mounting standing on the pegs? Do they reduce the lean angle? When I ride with a tail bag I need to mount using the foot pegs but feel unstable. I would love a solution other than getting over feeling unstable. Thanks!

@builderbob Yes the resisters are to slow down the flash rate. They do come with all the parts you need so I did not have to buy anything additional to install them. Thanks, I am happy with the end result.

@duhs10I agree I, would think they would have been plug and play. I had to add resisters, and maybe it’s just because they are European. Initially I asked the local Yamaha Dealership (where I bought my Tracer) if they could confirm if the turn signals would be compatible, and order some for me. They said they could not find them and could not be sure if they’d work....even with the part number. So, I guess it’s just a difference in the country. As a side note, Yamaha (European) has some rear turn signals also, but I read (I think in this forum somewhere) that they hit the panniers slightly once installed. I won’t be getting those.

I changed out the factory front turn signals with some smaller, brighter European Yamaha turn signals. I’m loving them, they come with white running lights on the bottom half and really increase the visibility of my bike from the front. I have not tried them out at night yet. They take a little work to install, make sure the arrow is pointed up, and the left and right sides are specific. They are not plug and play, take your time making quality connections. Hi! -Installed Frame Sliders today. OES Yamaha Tracer 900/900 GT Front & Rear Frame Sliders 2019 -Ordered some Yamaha turn signals from EBay. I hope they end up working —they’re from the UK.
