I took the hand guards off before I got home from my first ride. I couldn't lane split with those on. Stock screen had zero buzzing. The Touring one is just obscenely tall. I read about about using rubber washers.

I really need something like that for my Yamaha Touring Screen. it will buzz at the rubber grommet part that supports it on hard acceleration and anytime the engine gets vibey. I did manage to reduce it a little by loosening the plastic screws. I rode w/o it the other day while I was plastidipping it and it was so nice not hearing it.

I have a pair of Aerostich Touring Lite's -- heavy, needs serious break-in time, can barely shift; a pair of Sidi Black Rain and recently Dainese Latitour GoreTex. The Dainese were basically ready to go out the box and what I ride with now. Mid height so easy to shift with, good for walking around and comparatively light weight. Need to sell the other two. If I didn't go with those I would look at the TRQ -Tour. Those are comfortable and have more adjustability.
