  1. Having noticed the same I asked my dealer, who checked with Yamaha UK. As he said, the strangest question and the strangest answer - it is an Easter Egg apparently.
  2. The vibration levels on mine are reducing with mileage and are now no bother. I've had a Honda V4, and that had low levels of vibration, but if you want a truly vibrationless engine, try a BMW K1600 six cylinder inline. It is more like an electric motor than a internal combustion engine. When launched, a German owner posted a video of a one Euro coin balanced on its edge on the top box with the engine running at tickover - then ran it up to the rev limiter. The coin remained balanced on its edge until he closed the throttle and touched the coin, over it went. That was genuine as I found out by replicating it. My now gone 1600 did have a very slight amount of vibration from the original gearbox - almost undetectable and would have gone completely unnoticed on any other bike - but pull in the clutch and then there was no vibration at all. Quite eerie. At tickover and wearing ear plugs, the only way to tell if the engine was running was to check the rev counter.
  3. Average 59.59 (UK) mpg over 6000 miles in 11 months. Every tank fill and mileage logged with running average kept 🙂
  4. Angel GT2s are impressive and significantly out perform me, wet or dry. They meet my acid test - are the tyres something I need to be concerned about when riding? They are very neutral in feeling. My 2p worth, but see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5fHik60WMM
  5. My V System Scottoiler reservoir is mounted on the left hand side below the pillion seat. As said above, get the flow rate adjustment right and you are in a happy place.
  6. They were on back order in the UK - mine came about a month after the bike. Suggestion was that a mould had broken. Still waiting for the colour matched panel though ...
  7. I've got these - very neat and well made. Reliable crash bar for Yamaha MT-09, Tracer 900, XSR900 On the scene in case of emergency. SW-MOTECH crash bars combine... Very
