  1. Yes, please, be great to see some images. It sounds like the matching plugs needed to be spliced in?
  2. I did end up trying the Maadstad on my GT, but try as I might could not get it to adjust without having irritating noises. I ended up returning it, but having to pay shipping both ways & the restocking percentage cost me close to a $100. A gamble that I lost...
  3. So, I've wound my way through most of this thread on pumpkin elimination & like the looks of the 12o'clock Labs signals. So... a few questions for whoever still has the patience to answer this thread query: Can someone who has utilized this brand, break it down for this non-electrically minded dude with a 2019 U.S. issue Tracer 900GT. What do I need to have & do to make these signals fit & work on the bike front & back? I'm assuming its standard to have the clear lenses on the front & amber on the rear? Is this a U.S. requirement or is it just personal preference? And I'm also wondering why the choice signals that come on the Euro edition 2019/20 Tracers, can't be accessed here in the U.S. & then plug & played? Is it because Yamaha charges an arm & two legs for them or some other reason. Thanks for your time, help & patience with my questions. Lovin my GT, & hatin on the pumpkins!
  4. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I want to assume that the peg mounting set up on the 2019 Tracer is the same as the earlier FJ09/Tracers? No, the buzz is not really that bad, but I don't really need metal pegs & if it helps with the vibration a bit I think it would be worth a try. Interesting that johnmark101 mentions that an ECU reflash helps with the vibration. Wonder why? Certainly game for some of the other benefits that I've read about with a reflash.
  5. I want to ditch my pumpkins for something better. You say these blinkers are Tenere's. US models? And were these plug & play or did you need a different relay to get them to work properly? Do your rubber Tenere pegs do a decent job of reducing vibration? Thanks!
  6. So, I'm following this thread & wanting to do the same rubber peg mod with my 2019 Tracer900GT. Wondering if anyone who has a 2019 knows if these Amazon sourced pegs will also work on the 2019?
  7. My Tracer GT gets the buzzy pegs at high rpms. I know its not Harley bad, but wanted to see how some rubber covered pegs might help. Anyone know where I might find some? I've seen a video with Tracer accessories that show them, but no link. Thanks!
  8. Hey Bugs - I did take a peek at that Madstad site. It looks a little pricey. I suppose that's because it comes with its own mount, right? But I suppose if it is a sturdier mount than the OEM (taller screens seem to create more shake on it), & with added adjustability, it could be worth it. I do like the ability to return it if its a bust for me. Thanks for your help. Will take another look at it.
  9. Hey Steve - Thanks for the info. Really appreciate it! You're a bit shorter than me, but at that screen height, I should be covered! And the foil should give me something to play with. And yeah I get what you're saying about the foil. I had a foil on my VStrom 650 Adventure & it worked really well for me. I look forward to an improved ride soon. Enjoy yours! Cheers!
  10. Thanks for your quick reply, Steve! I'm 5'10", dealing with tinnitus & really want to come up with a solution to the wind noise of the stock screen. I bought an adjustable foil from Moto Party to try on the OEM shield for the hell of it. I found that raising it up almost all of the way up, to about 3.5" above the OEM on it's high setting I was able to eliminate a considerable amount of that noise. But it seemed pretty shaky & ideally I wanted a wider screen for colder weather. Was considering the OEM touring screen, but Yamaha won't seem to allow any returns on it if I don't like it. Any tall screen is not going to look as cool as small one, but I think the Puig is actually a better looking screen over the Yamie touring version & it's adjustable foil is a cleaner mount than universal foil I purchased. I'm guessing that shake you're trying to eliminate comes from the added height that the OEM mount wasn't really built to absorb. Did your rubber mount mod help with some of that shake? Also wondering how much higher the top of your screen is over stock, both with & without the foil raised? And if Puig will let me return it if it doesn't fly well with my 5'10 height? Sounds like you're really happy with it at high speeds. No ill handling issues at that 90+mph? That is also important to me for sure. Cheers for help, Steve!
  11. Wondering how tall you are/inseam? I, like many of you are searching for a screen that cuts the wind noise on the GT. Does your Puig have an adjustable foil on it?
