  1. Wordsmith: I'm in a similar boat. Tracer 2019 GT Had the Yamaha dog bones installed to lower 9'16" 14mm (P/N: 2PP-F22A0-V0-00) 70 years old 28 - 29" inseam. Had rear shock set at lowest preload ie. none got a lower adjustable kick stand from Soupys performance. This sort of worked. Flat foot on left leg. On my toes when level. I have not raised the front forks in the triple clamps yet (probably 14 -15mm). That will be next. Bought dogbones from Soupys for lower height 1.25" 30mm. I have not installed them yet. Now I'm worried about the rear tire hitting inside of fender and oil pan strikes. I took out the seat pan pads to see if I could get anything lower on the seat. No I'm not trading the bike in. Maybe I can get some platform shoes from Dame Edna
  2. With short legs on uneven ground and I'm a little panicky to put down the side stand, I'll use the kill switch to prevent glitch tipovers. Also the key switch is not located in an easy to get to place on the Tracer. I'm going to have to test this starter kill switch debacle.
  3. Thanks for the info on the lowering kit. I have Yamaha 15mm installed. Balance comfort level still seems marginal with 28" seam. I'll look at dropping the front forks next. Maybe 5mm. Thanks for the input on the lowering seat. Probably won't buy that one.
  4. Test drove stock GT, seat in the lower position, with my 28" inseam. When I bought the Tracer I had the Yamaha lowering links installed as part of the sale for free. This lowered the seat height 19mm. This was adequate to give me some confidence level. The narrow seat helps me in landing the bike. This bike is also 100 lbs. lighter than my Triumph 1050 Sprint GT.
