  1. Yes, have my annual tour planned with my mates planned for late July. Have no idea where we are going. Our normal approach is book ferries (already done), get on ferry, grab a beer, sit down and look at weather forecast. Decide where to head, book first night hotel (make sure it has secure bike parking) whilst we have mobile phone signal. Then take things from there. Works well for us. Last year, 6 countries (France, Germany, Litchenstein, Austria, Switzerland, Italy in 4 days, 2000 miles. This year we have an ambition to head to Pyrenees, but we will see.
  2. Thanks! Glad you like it! 🙂😎
  3. Hello everyone. I just joined this forum today. It's great to see my mounts being discussed and appreciated. In case anybody has any questions or would like additional photos of the mount in action, please PM me. Steve.
  4. Hi everyone I've owned my Tracer 900 GT since July 2018 and absolutely love it. Althought I'm an active member on the various Tracer related Facebook groups, I only just found this community and just joined today. I've been riding since I was about 7 years of age, and since I was legally allowed to ride(!), have owned mostly sports bikes over the past 25 years or so. I switched to something a little more street orientated about 6 years ago, initially getting a KTM SMT990, then a Honda Crossrunner, before I bought my Tracer. To be honest, despite the lunacy and fun of my various sports bikes over the years, I don't miss them at all, and wish I had upgraded to a Tracer (or something similar) years ago. The Tracer has all the performance you need, comfort, great riding position, and that engine is just brilliant. I've done a few inevitable upgrades on my Tracer, including a full Ohlins upgrade to front and rear, 360 degree camera system (I ride extensively in Central London, so plenty of idiots to film), Bagster heated seats, indicators, tail tidy, 52 litre top box, and sat nav mounts / wiring etc. I've done some pretty big journeys to date, as I do at least one annual trip to Europe every year with friends. Did 2000 miles through 6 countries last summer and she didn't miss a beat - and really was the perfect bike for such a trip. As well as my Tracer, I love 1980's / 1990's Yamaha 2 strokes, and own a '84 RD350 YPVS, '90 TDR250, and '92 TZR125R Belgarda. Look forward to catching up on the wealth of info on this site.
