  1. That block seems like a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
  2. Maybe I got a bad set. I had to add washers. I had to grind down the open slot on the right side so the bolt could screw in at the right angle.
  3. Do not buy givi crash bars. If you enjoy jigsaw puzzles and are willing to accept bars that ALMOST fit be forewarned. Madstad windshield is a good choice.
  4. I agree that a little loose chain is better than a little tight. I just traded in my 2011 Suzuki gsx1250 for my new tracer900. I had the original chain and sprockets with 56000 miles on them and not ready for replacement I cleaned and waxed the chain every 200 miles and used dupont degreaser and chain saver.I believe riding conservatively puts less strain on the chain vs riding like a maniac!
  5. Did my 600 mile oil and filter change myself Both Yamaha dealers wanted $350. I figure much of that cost would be labor to synch fuel injectors. The engine is running fine and I won't have it done now . Every 4000 miles? No way mr. Yamaha! They must have used a power tool to install the oil filter I resorted to using a giant channel lock pliers to get it off .Overall I am very happy with my base tracer900
