Was informed, at least in my country, locally assemble, they will launch the Tracer 9 first and rumours would be the same price as 2020 Tracer GT. While Tracer 9 GT no news yet. If i read somewhere, they are only selling the Tracer 9GT in USA and Tracer 9 wont be selling, at least in the US.

am guessing we take US as benchmark, will see increase around the globe as compared to 2020 GT, based on MRSP. ZigMerid , in our country, the pannier has been removed/not provided and its locally assemble, not fully imported, guess to keep the price down. here MRSP for 2019/2020 Tracer GT WITHOUT the panniers is going for USD14,362 (at current exchange rate), yes, big bike are expensive to own here.

i did not believe that a Made in Japan Dunlop D222 is bad, i slip a few times during wet corner(here in our tropical climate, if not hot, its rain + pebbles), than given other comment here, plunge to a Michelin Road 5, afterall my tires is still new, was able to sell 30% of Road5 cost and paid 70% which i think was worth it. than try a few times on wet road, the same manner i did with Dunlop and there were no slip. push a bit harder and that too no slip (fyg, am no pro but push corner to the bravest i could). its a very individualized debate which i agreed, but that is based on my experienced. at 60kg weight, that could also be the reason, if am heavier, maybe i wont feel the slip.

What is the price difference in your countries for 2021 Tracer as compare to 2020 Tracer GT, same or higher or lower. over here, rumours has it will launch next month, not sure if with panniers or without panniers and no pricing.

i have got the SW Motech on rear, ordered the front one, yet to arrive. last weekend due to tire puncture, removed the Sw Motech and found the shaft (not sure whats its call) of SW Motech rusted ! Sand it down and applied silicone spray to it. knowing silicone spray wont last long, can anyone advice if could applied a thin layer of grease on it?

am coming from Triumph T100, the initial part yes, in B mode these bike really wants more and more, now have gotten used to it, switching between Standard and B, though have only use A mode couple of times when i need more andrenalin pumping to my heart !

without spending $$$, there are plenty to set up the SAG front and rear which i think u know the basic set up. (i dont initially when i got my bike) some riders here, me included find our private parts/butt seem to slide close to the fuel tank, Top secret R&D by someone in this forum is to put washer/coin on the adjustable seat height bracket to prevent our butt sliding to the front. if its ori dunlop d222 tires, than guess first wallet spending would be on tires (i initially was sceptical and change it after 1,000km riding, and man, wish i would have change it immediately upon receiving my bike), i follow most of it here, Michelin Road 5. wanted Pirelli Scorpion STR but in my country, only rear available, front size not available. Am no expert here, still receiving a lot of input input on this great forum.

Took a long ride before the incoming ban on interstate travel, My new Michelin Road 5 got a puncture, not sure what causes it on the highway, likely a metal piece, To call Tow Truck would need to wait at least an hour or more, luckily was near highway exit and check Dr Google, nearest bike shop is 4.5km away. with only my light weight 68kg, push myself to the front and ride 5-10km/h. after 2km, stop again to let the tires cool down (not sure if it helps but sure nice to have a cigi puff before move on !), inching my way to a workshop only to find they only have plug kit and mine cannot be repair, hence no choice have wife to get a new tires (they dont sell our size tires) and drive to the shop to have it change. taking my puncture tires back to shop sometime this week to see if they have a solution to salvage my tires. Came back and was too tired to do anything else, the next day our local lottery draw, my bike number plate came out 2nd prize, HUH !

my new year ride with my regular riders, Versys 1000, Vstrom 650 and Tracer GT.

having experienced with favourite keychain, on these Tracer, for me, its just a bike key and small ring, to hook on my waist pouch when stopping over.

Thanks for the update Funnelli...... gonna get a used mirror to try (from some web) remove the mirror and insert tire weight/balancer as claim to improve drastically before i plunge into getting a new one.

has the mirror vibration reduce (especially the right side) with these set up. last travel on highway night at 120-140km, cant see a damm thing with the vibration (ok, am also half a century old).

i had the same issues, use soap does not work..... i google around and try Kerosene which i used to clean my bike chain. it works on tire. and i wash again with car shampoo the tire. now am using Bel-Ray Chain Cleaner.... no more fling = no need wash the lube of tire !

I got a cheap denim jacket and change all the protector, elbow, shoulder and back to a better one.... for short distant ride. recently got a Dainese Carve Master 2 during sale and i used it for long distant trip. rode on heavy rain, it works to keep me dry.

been reading a lot on the forum, indeed many have upgrades front and back spring/shock. our OEM is actually not bad, just need to adjust to fit your style of riding, however our tracer seat is not exactly comfy in the first place. on my last week long distant ride, i use AIR HAWK cushion (now plenty in the market with many cheaper brand) and it suits me, no backache pain. however if i do have the budget, sure, i would upgrade.

I used B mode most time as cruising mostly, wait x sprocket change, going to change to much gentler (forgot was it larger or smaller front). there is a product discussed before in this forum, a device from denmark plug and play, i recalled it give a smooth slow down when throttle off but not sure if same goes for acceleration.

Betoney or anyone out there using stock screen with these dual clip on, will it help reduce or eliminate wind buffeting to the helmet. rode on rain, night and its so tiring with the wind hitting my helmet on stock screen. sold my puig touring as it does not eliminate but help to reduce and dont want to spent on Givi. would maybe get a sport screen if these dual clip on is not working. plenty sold here on local platform (ebay your side), looks like they are all the same and from my researched, there are 3 sizes available (largest found was total length/width 37cm. ) checking with them now the clip on in-between distant as our stock screen is not that wide.

i would want to ride for at least a week without a phone, just alone, ride anywhere, stop anywhere, sleep anywhere, no phones = peace.

Congrats on your new owned Tracer GT, nearly plunge on an Indian scout, in my opinion the looks kills any Harley off. Sadly the dealer here is very weak with not many on the road, dont want to be stuck/park my bike just because of one screw/nuts missing due no stock. As for Tracer, plenty spares parts all over the country.

My locals got some Sw Motech discount coming up this weekend. Anyone installed and let the bike lying on the side, does it protect engine, tank or what does it not protect. hesitant to installed but during push bike, had a few misses bike almost topple over. Try google, YouTube, can’t find one tracer with sw motech crash bar lying on its side. Thanks.

we have plenty of knock off look alike give bar here, however its not posted as Givi but crash bar for Tracer/Tracer GT. cost around usd50-60, shape to look similar. but i guess its still solid, even for a knock off, perhaps maybe get a new quality screw instead.
