  1. I'd start lower, see where they go and then start negotiating for extras at a price close to what they offer, tires, accessories, etc... Then again, if motorcycle dealers are having the same issue as cars, (lack of inventory), they may tell you to try your luck somewhere else. But no way would I drop 8k on a 7 year old FJ/FZ
  2. Compared to the inline 4 sport bikes I've owned I wouldn't say throttle abruptness is even a concern on this bike. On a bumpy road, in A mode with a death grip on the throttle, maybe, but I don't consider this bike's throttle response jerky.
  3. Love them, but they were a b%tch to put on.
  4. You recognize the different sounds, of a v twin, triple, opposed twin, inline 4, or the mighty Honda six cylinder from miles away and you tell whoever you're with even though they never asked you and don't care.
  5. Actually, that's not completely accurate, I put spacers behind the OEM windshield, so it is more straight instead of a slanted angle, and that made a significant difference. I go the idea from someone on this forum.
  6. I haven't done anything to the windshield but I replaced the standard handguards with KTM handguards and it has changed the airflow a bit
  7. I am trying to figure out how to post items in the classified section, however, it is greyed out when I choose start a new topic. What am I missing?
  8. Anyone have the T Rex luggage rack for their Tracer? I found a good price.
  9. I have never had side panniers on a motorcycle and I would like to get them on my tracer. My question is do I need the mounting frame for every pannier that fits a Tracer or just the soft panniers?
  10. Follow up question. Does anyone know if certain years V-Strom handguards work better than other years??
  11. I like the look of the Tracer guards, but they are essentially useless for blocking anything. The minute I saw how large the V-Strom guards are on the Tracer, I knew I had to have them, but could not find any pics as to how they are actually attached to a Tracer. Thanks to Betoney, I now know how.
  12. Betoney, I'm pretty sure I can figure out how they attach by your bar ends, BUT, how did you attach them to the brackets for the original handguards? Or didn't you. Are they zip tied, some other configuration?
