  1. Thanks a lot! This is helpful. Since my post I learned that they are no longer available after any current inventory is sold. Lou
  2. I have a 2015 FJ09. I just purchased a used set of Yamaha OEM hard side cases. The cases did not include the mounting brackets that attach to the rear foot peg area. I’m having a real problem finding them online bc I’m seeing different part numbers for the cases and mounting brackets depending on the year of the bike. Some are available and some are not. Couple of questions: Are the hard side cases the same for the 2015-2017 FJ09 And the later models 2018 up Tracer? Im hoping I didn’t buy the wrong side cases for for 2015. Are the mounting brackets the same? I appreciate any guidance.
  3. Thanks guys. Just checked and I DO have the rubber insulated front sprocket. I don’t think PO ever had throttle sync done. I have a sync tool but only for twin. Just ordered one and I’ll sync this weekend. See what happens. The buzzyness is not a problem. Just foreign to what I’m used to coming from parallel twins or in line fours.
  4. Greetings, Just purchased a 2015 FJ09 with 6k miles. Ive had Yamahas (FJR and Super Tenere) but this is my first triple. I’m experiencing an engine “buzz” and wondering if it’s a fuel delivery issue or simply a characteristic of the triple. When I’m accelerating through gears engine is very smooth. But, when I maintain a steady speed with throttle barely open (1/10th throttle) the engine becomes very buzzy which can be felt in grips and foot pegs. Normal? thanks much. LL
