  1. Hey everyone, haven’t been around for a bit. I hope everyone is doing well. I have pilot road 5’s and was checking my pressure and noticed some funky wear that I don’t ever recall seeing with other tires. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? It’s consistent throughout the side and also is present on both sides. PS, don’t laugh at my chicken strips, it’s a road bike.
  2. I need advice from the hive mind. I bought these super nice highway pegs from R&G https://assets2.rg-racing.com/Images/files/Fitting-Instructions/Highway Pegs/HWP0002-FITTING-INSTRUCTIONS.pdf I have SW-Motech bars that I’ve attached them to. I thought they would be a perfect fit but they are not. The bars are roughly.05” to big in diameter. So I ended up buying some longer bolts so I could “clamp” them on and they seem stout enough but they are cutting into the bars some. Any worries or suggestions that you might have?

  4. @maximo I pass the honors to you. I have 0 imagination.
  5. @roy826 Do you have the PN for that SW Motech rack, by chance?
  6. @betoney without saying who you saw, where did you drive, 1000 miles to see them in concert?
  7. @betoney - definitely planning something along those lines.
  8. Road up to Diablo damn on SR-20. Perfect ride.
  9. Trust me! I’m on the cusp of being “old”
  10. It was a joke, albeit poor. Par for the course.
  11. I’m talking about the electronics. Why is everyone talking about windscreens?
  12. Am I the only one that finds our bikes a little buggy at times?
  13. Such a lovely place. Everything is so grand in size. Great motorbike road if there isn’t too much traffic.
  14. I once road my 97 gixxer from Kirkland to Winthrop and back only stopping for gas and having a red bull in Winthrop. There is ABSOLUTELY no way I could do that now. This summer I’ll do it in a couple/few days. Today I road 150 miles. Up highway 9 to the Skagit river and then over to Rockport and then 530 along the Sauk and Stilliguamish back to Arlington and then some nice twisties home. Pic: Whitehorse Mountain.
  15. SR-20 is now open!!! https://www.king5.com/mobile/article/news/local/north-cascades-highway-state-route-20-reopens-wednesday/281-b15be540-bd76-480c-9fc2-b1e2c5511920
  16. Ok folks, I’ve now got a few hundred miles on the Corbin and can say it’s not a panacea, but it’s pretty good for my boney a$$. I’m all gut and no butt. It’s better feeling than the Bagster and leaps better than stock. I also expect Corbin to break in more after more miles. Of course it’s gonna be different for everyone. I’ve decided to keep the Bagster for when it’s raining on my commute.
  17. It’s been 4ish years since I was on that road. Maybe they’ve improved it. My guess is probably not.
  18. Yes they fit perfectly and they’re relatively cheap.
  19. FYI, I use these when it’s cold and have been relatively pleased. https://obradvgear.com/enduro-grip-mitt/
