Yeah, I heard about Slime but apparently the difference here is that it doesn't leave that liquid shite all over the inside of the tire. Apparently this stuff is tiny glass beads that roll around inside the tire and create enough centrifugal force that they act as a counter balance and balance any kind of wobble in the tire.

I checked the part numbers on cmsnl Ave the bars on my model only work up to the 2017 tracer and the 2018 + models, use a different bar, which also happens to fit the 2016 MT-09. The tracer doesn't use the same bars as the MT-09.

As far as I know, it's something to do with the controls being different on the newer models. I ended up ordering a set of Rizoma MA009R (Red) bars and I'm just gonna grind down the little guidance tabs so I don't have to drill the bars.

I just ordered the MA009R in red to match the paint job on the bike. I am just gonna grind down the pins too. phuck drilling!

I'm watching a video on replacing the bars on a mt09 and I got it wrong. He was telling me about the Pilot holes in the bars that need to be drilled to line up the controls correctly. I'm just a phucking idiot and forgot exactly what he said.

Thanks brother. I had a look at Rizoma and the only thing I'm not certain on is, will everything on my yamaha bars simply transfer over without any drilling? My mechanic tells me that there are wires for the controls inside the stock bars so I'm kinda lost since I've never replaced bars with internal wiring before.

Hey guys, I have what I think is a common problem. The bars on my 2016 Tracer 900 are to phucking wide and trying to get it in the back gate can be challenging as well as dangerous if I scrape the wall or drop it. Today I learned that the 2018 Tracer has bars that are 10cm narrower than my bars! Needless to say, I really need to narrow these bars and I don't want to start chopping bars. Can the 2018 Tracer 900 bars fit my 2016 Tracer 900 OR can anybody recommend for aftermarket bars??? 🤔 I'd love to find some aftermarket bars that would cut down on the vibrations from the engine too.

Quick update lads, I couldn't decide between a seat and shocks so I went and got both. I have an Ohlins shock going into the rear tomorrow and my custom heated gel from Bagster has been shipped and will be here in a few days. I'll report back once both are installed

Does anybody know of, or even have themselves, a belly pan that can fit my Tracer 900 with HEED crash bars installed?

Yeah, I'm a good 245lbs, hoping to drop that this year though. How much was your Ohlins rear shock, if you don't mind me asking?

OK, the good news is it's already in the shop overnight getting the ecu dynoed and flashed and they set up the suspension for my weight, which is what prompted this post, lol. When I get it back tomorrow morning I'll have plenty to discuss with them. I know they are Ohlins specialists.

What should I be looking for to upgrade my rear suspension on my 2016 MT-09 Tracer? Like, what would be a sliding scale of replacements, cost wise? Sorry if I'm being picky but I just know very little about suspension tbh.

OK, seat it is. Besides Bagster and Sargent, does anybody have any recommendations for a really good seat, heated if possible.

I just bought my 2016 Tracer 900 last night and I wanted to order the powerbronze belly pan but after a quick check with them, it's not compatible with the Heed crash bars I have on the bike. Does anybody know of any belly pans that will work with crash bars? Thanks

Can I ask something...? Am I correct in assuming that using the correct hardware I can use an app on my phone to display a customised dash? And if this is possible, could it be possible to remove the dash entirely and replace it with a dock for my phone that could run a virtual dash in place of the physical hardware, and if possible, make the bike unusable/unstartable without the phone which would increase it's security?

Can you flash custom maps to remove the restrictions and remove the snatchy feeling?
