  1. Yeah piotrek. Agreed. An OEM part should be bulltetproof. And this part was sold as an OEM Mazda part. Doesn't appear so now. Pic attached. Gonna stick with Yamaha OEM now.
  2. Just finished my beginning of the season oil change (temps in the 70s in central Ohio, woo hoo!). I went with the Mazda drain plug after the first oil change (2015) and just want to report that after three seasons and three oil changes the head of the Mazda bolt was corroded and stripped out so bad I wound up having to carefully remove it with a pair of pliers after getting the oil pan good and warm. And I've NEVER abused it. I assume the metal's too soft when tightened. So I replaced it with the OEM bolt and will most likely NOT replace it again. It honestly doesn't hang down any lower than my Giannelli full exhaust, so shouldn't be an issue. And it will be MUCH easier to remove for future oil changes. Just wanted to share my experience as a warning to others.
  3. Received mine today. Five days shipping. Nice quality pieces. Seemingly worth the money. Looking forward to the install to see how they look on the FJ.
  4. FINALLY! Trigger pulled! Can't wait to mount these and my Custom LED tail light. Also wanting to install some flush mount LED signals front and rear (and run the hand guard lights as signals). Anybody tried running all LEDs yet? Will I need to install a flash relay to slow down the flash rate? Oh, I'm so excited!!!!!
  5. Gotta agree with basstodave. Love the view the extenders give me, but they do seem to buzz more at speed. Moreso than I noticed before the installation. But I can at least see SOMETHING behind me. Still worth the money.
