  1. Send me a PM if you want to come by and check them out in person!
  2. I have a set that I bought off of Fleabay for a FJR. Wider than stock and have a rubber cap. I like them much better than the stock pegs!
  3. Changed the oil, oil filter and flushed and refilled the coolant on my 2020 900GT. Getting it ready to do a few days on some fantastic Missouri sweepers in early September! (And hopefully eat some outstanding Hercules BBQ in Piedmont, MO!) Would have been much nicer if it wasn't for the hot temps outside!
  4. Loosen the handlebars, rotate them to where they will clear, tighten the handlebars back up. No need to get new bolts, IMO. Then go ride!
  5. Only took about an hour total. Rode for about 180 miles on it last week and it still feels a little firm for me. I'm hopeful that it will "break-in" and be fine. Make sure you have a pneumatic staple gun. I used a Harbor Freight one and it did fine.
  6. I have a 32" inseam and in the lower position it works great!
  7. More pictures added. Somebody needs this bike!
  8. Installed the Seat Concepts kit on my 2020 Tracer 900GT. Only got in about 15 miles after the install, but my initial impression is that it is a vast improvement over the stock seat! Forward lean is all but gone and in the low position I can still flat-foot the bike. More extensive testing will be required this week!
  9. Ok, the Shinko update is in! I got 8,100miles out of this set of Shinko's. Granted I do not "carve canyons", and about 75% of those miles were highway miles, but I think I got my moneys worth.
  10. Looks like mine is priced to sell! A fly and ride should be in your future! 2020 Tracer 900GT for sale - $9,500 - Bikes for sale - FJ09 Tracer 900 Forum
  11. Mounted the tires and installed new sprockets and chain today!
  12. Dang it! I just finished putting new tires on my Tracer about 30 minutes ago. If I had only known............
  13. What part of Kentucky? There are a few of us from the Bluegrass State on here.

  15. That's the way I do it also. The Nelson Rigg tail bag is a nice piece of equipment! But since I ride a lot of different bikes (5), I have purchased extra straps so I can easily move it from one bike to another. I can change it from one bike to another in less than a minute.
  16. Changed out the OEM "scooter" horn for something that gets their attention! Fiamm #72112 Freeway Blaster low note horn from Amazon, for less than $9, its A LOT LOUDER!
  17. It's a great scenic ride, IMO. Lots of interesting stops and views. Just imagine how much fun you could have if the speed limit was higher! The northern end has lots of twisties but the speed limit takes away a lot of the fun! Cruise control is a must have!
  18. They are the round "disc" that hold the outer brake disc to the inner hub, so they "float", if that makes sense.
  19. I've never done the ones on the Tracer, but I had a Triumph Trophy that had to have them cleaned every 4,000 miles or so to reduce brake "surging". I used an ezy-out in a cordless drill to do mine. Insert the ezy-out in the bobbin, spray generously with brake cleaner while spinning it with the drill. You'll be amazed at the "gunk" that comes out of them! Make sure to cover as much of the wheel as possible to lessen the clean-up time. Just my .02!
  20. Anyone installed a self-cancelling turn signal unit from ST2? https://st2-systems.com How does it work? Are you happy with it?
  21. I believe you're over-thinking this! Really,..........how much is your sprocket off-center??? I'll never use a dial indicator to adjust my chain! The old way has been working just fine for a long time, for a multitude of bikes and bikers. Just my .02!
  22. Fore, for........no.....it's four!
