  1. Speaking of your front tire; I noticed that my front one is not wearing off evenly. It has bumps here and there and I'm about to replace it. Did you notice something similar? PS: Where in RI? I live in Pawtucket
  2. Hi everyone! I am looking forward to trade in my Tracer 900. Could you help me come up with a good price that I could settle for? These are the details and the pictures. Thank you for your help! Make: Yamaha Model: Tracer 900 Year: 2019 Odometer: 7,100 miles Extras and addons (seen in the picture): - Nose beak - Puig touring windscreen - Motopumps handlebar risers - Givi engine guards - Givi skid plate - Givi monokey mounting plate - Givi v47 top case - Givi v37 hard side bags - Givi PLX side bag mount Extras and addons (not seen in the picture): - Custom aftermarket exhaust (I don't have the stock one) - Bagster memory foam seats for driver and passenger (I have the stock ones) - Ram GPS / Phone 1" ball mounts (x2) - Givi v47 back rest pad - Givi hand guard extensions
  3. I would say the temperature has nothing to do. I store it in a heated shed and the temperature is always around 15*Celsius (60*F). As for the battery, I'll try with a new one and see... do you think one of those jump start kits would help? Spark plugs: Could be that, but like I mentioned in the first post, the bike started after trying for a while... would I change them because they're flooded? How would they get damaged? Gas: It's been there for a while, but I have started it every week, every 2 weeks with no issue. It also started once after changing the exhaust... I have a feeling that if I bring it to the shop, they'll tell me it was something really stupid lol
  4. I tried almost everything, and the bike still won't start; so annoying! I took the exhaust off, and I did see moisture, little drops. Could it be the gas fumes? When I try to start it, it definitely smells like gas. Any hints, suggestions? Thank you!
  5. Quick question Skip; if I open the throttle when starting the bike, wouldn't that "flood" it even more? In that case, I have to pull out the spark plugs or wait until they "dry out"? Thanks!
  6. What would you use for covering the air intake or the exhaust? As for the exhaust, I was going to go for the Scorpion (you have to cut the original exhaust right next to the oxygen sensor), but instead decided to "build my own". I welded a connection pipe and then attached and end pipe I found on Amazon...
  7. Do you mind sharing the post link? Bike being flooded makes sense, at one point someone suggested opening the throttle while starting it... maybe made it worse... lol Thanks for your help Skip!
  8. Actually... I didn't unplug it from the harness :X. Do you think it's the O2 sensor? Someone told me the bike should start even without it (according to him, the sensor only works once it's been on for a while...) Thank you for your help!
  9. Hello everyone! Long story short: I just changed the exhaust in my 2019 Tracer 900 and the bike won't start. I have uploaded this video so you can see exactly what happens and how it sounds: Things worth mentioning, just in case it helps: - Forgot to plug the O2 sensor the first time I tried starting it. - After 30 minutes of trying, it started (yay). I left it on for 10 seconds, thinking I was all set, only to try after 15 minutes, and back to the same issue (boo). Would the O2 sensor mistake have caused this issue? Flashing or updating the ECU would work? Could it be the starter? Any help is greatly appreciated!!
  10. Has anyone installed rubber footpegs on their motorcycle? I'm looking for a plug and play solution. Thank you!
  11. Hello everyone! I have decided to get a Bagster seat for my 2019 Tracer 900 (USA). However, I'm having a hard time finding what seat model is compatible. Does anyone have a Bagster seat for the same bike I have? Tracer GT seat would also work? Thanks for your help!
  12. Hello everyone. I lost both keys for my Tracer top case (Givi Trekker Outback). The top case is on my bike. Is there any way of getting it out of the rack, without the key? As for ordering a replacement key, what can I do? Thank you!
  13. I went for the Puig Touring, and honestly I think it's the best one. It falls right in between the 2 GIVI options, and you can get it for a good deal (new) on EBay.
  14. Welcome to the forum!
  15. In my case, the riding position is uncomfortable (for my back at least) when riding in the low position. I wish the tank was a bit taller so my belly could rest on it lol
  16. Where did you find the sun / light reflection cover for that TomTom? I've been looking for one!
  17. Hello! Has anyone found or installed a set of fork extenders for the FJ09 / Tracer 900? I've been looking for bike specific ones, but haven't been able to find them. I did find a 41 mm diameter set (I believe that's the diameter of the stock forks), but will the threading match? Thank you for your help!
  18. Hello everyone! I was just wondering; would it be possible to, somehow, increase the ground clearance on my Tracer 900? Besides adjusting the preload, what are my options? Changing the front fork and rear shock altogether? I saw a video on YouTube where some guy in india added 2 machined cilinders to the stock forks and raised the handlebar... I'd love to turn it into a "proper adventure / trail bike" of sorts... Thoughts and tips please? Thank you!
  19. Silly question: Why are you not supposed to bring the top case + the side panniers?
  20. I'm from Spain, and 100% of riders wave. Now that I live in the USA (North East > Rhode Island, Mass, New Hampshire) I'd say 50% wave back... Interestingly, all of them happen to be Harley drivers...
