  1. Hi Ferrett847, What mpg were you getting with the standard sprocket? If you are happy with the ECU flash can you share where you obtained it. Thanks Gerry
  2. You will need the Yamaha screen fittings from a standard Niken. Screen manufacturers do not need to manufacture brackets when their screens fit original fittings.
  3. Sorry if this has already been posted but it looks interesting. https://www.rideapart.com/news/564126/furion-electrify-yamaha-niken-concept/
  4. Thanks GregNiken, I have ordered the Voigt-MT 20mm risers to improve mirror vision. Gerry
  5. Picture of the bike yesterday. The screen is significantly taller and it reminds me of my old BMW R1150RT. Sadly I do not have the powered adjustment of that bike so I have to look through the screen.
  6. Yes on the GT. The mounting kit is only for the original Niken fitted with the low screen.
  7. Hi, my first post I believe. I have owned a used Niken GT since November. I live in the Uk so high temperatures are not very common here. I fitted the tall Givi screen today and went for a 120 miles ride to test the difference for me (5ft 9inch). It was a cool day 6c to 9c with wind gusts of 24 mph. In recent weeks we have had very blustery conditions so I was pleased find the screen is a major improvement for me with virtually no buffeting and much quieter (with and without ear plugs and Schuberth C4 pro carbon). I did experience the wind pressure when large trucks passed from the opposite direction but it wasn’t a serious issue. The screen will be staying on in the cooler months and it can be switched very quickly using the 4 screws. As I have the GT I only needed to buy the screen and not the fitting kit.
  8. Thanks for the welcome Kenny. 👋
  9. Thanks for accepting me. I have been riding since 1975 and started on a RD200. Also owned XS2 650 and FJ1200 Yamhaha. I will be collecting a 2020 Niken GT from a dealer in about a weeks time. The bike has been part of Yamaha's own fleet with 2500 miles on it. I am interested in links to the best mods and parts from a tracer will fit. I also own 2 Classic BMW's. Gerry
